"I rented this apartment for about a week during business presentation in Kingston. The staff were helpful, detailed and kind. Also, the location and general layout is very safe and well-kept. I appreciated having laundry appliances and a full kitchen with pots and pans so that I could cook, too. Security guards at gate 24/7 plus staff on WhatsApp made me feel like everything was always taken care of. Also, I was concerned about mosquitos, but the apartment is set up so that they basically...

"*SCAM ALERT* I booked this place and paid upfront for 3nights. When it was close to check-in time, I called and was as told over the phone by the host that they do not take last minute bookings. They never refunded me nor answered the rest of my calls."

"The location is excellent very quiet neighborhood. I wish I could prepare at least breakfast.
I wish it had a stove/hot plate and a kettle to qualify as home away from home. Nikki is very nice and always available. Overall I did enjoy my stay."

"This property was an unexpected great find in Robins Bay. Just 3 minutes from the fork in the town. The view of the ocean, the comfortable mattress, the lovely fruit trees and the spacious living room and verandah helped to make our stay a very pleasant one.
Aleisha was extremely responsive and her husband Wray and Miss Chunny took care of every detail.
The Jamaican breakfast that Chunny made was extremely delicious and it came with a very generous serving of local fruits for a reasonable...

"Is not an ideal place for a business trip since it is an apartment with no restaurants at walking distance. Be prepare for an additional charge of US$110 cash for cleaning and management charge. You need to call to arrange someone to meet you at the place as you arrive and as you leave (is not a hotel). The place is nice but is not a hotel."

"I enjoyed the stay. It was like home away from home. All the thing i needed for my stay was available. A stove, fridge , washer, toaster , plates , utensils and internet services, just to list a few. The agent Aliesha was very pleasant and always happy to assist. I really enjoyed the visit."

"Ideal if you’re looking for a safe, quiet and spotlessly clean place to stay. No pool and no complimentary bath robe that I never use anyway! Not a luxury property but it was a welcoming and relaxing feel about it. The location is also very good - close to things but also quietly tucked away. I would definitely return. Oh …., I nearly forgot to mention the full Jamaican breakfast. The best I have ever had!! "
"Great Huts is now my favorite place to stay in my favorite parish, Portland. It was the most unique experience. A lot of thought placed in blending the manmade with the natural. Views from the cliffs are a feast for the eyes. Very helpful and friendly staff. Special recognition to Chef Sammy!"
"I booked this hotel mainly for the location, but unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. Most of the rooms face the road and are noisy, and music was played constantly, 24 hours a day. It was not extremely loud, but it was always there and became very annoying, making it difficult to relax and rest at night.
Breakfast was poor quality. I tried dinner the first night, and the rice was clearly reheated and poor quality. They only offered chicken strips. I also found what looked like hair or towel fibers in the food, which was unpleasant.
The price was far too high for the quality of the room and service provided. The only positive point was the housekeeping lady, who kindly helped me with ironing. She deserves the stars, not the hotel.
I arrived at 1:25 PM, and although check-in was at 2:00 PM, they made me wait until 2:00 with no flexibility. Overall, I would not stay here again."
"From the beginning to the end was horrible. There was no hot water in the shower I had to use two cups to catch hot water from the sink to bath. If you turn the shower on water would be sprinkling out the shower onto the floor and wall. The shower curtain and shower was all moldy. The walls was dirty and the bed spread had brown stains. It’s a very secure area that I do love but they need to actually take their time and fix the place and do a better job at keeping it clean. I was traumatized the whole time."
"The beach at French Man Cove us beautiful, and can visited by purchasing a pass for the day.
I'd highly recommend this rather than staying at the hotel.
The hotel is old, dilapidated in places and very dark at night.
The kettle in the room produced very dirty water on first use, so was not used again. The AC unit outside is noisy, and leaks water onto the balcony.
There is wooden block stick provided to secure the balcony door, as I assume locks don't work.
The beds within the rooms are very small, particularly length wise.
Returning from the beach after sunset is a very dark walk, with very few lights leading to the rooms.
Security staff and the lifeguards were helpful, however beach bar staff (which is the only place to access food on site as the kitchen is unavailable due to renovations) were slow to assist and rarely ventured onto the beach to take orders/assist.
Guests of the hotel are required to pay for beach chairs, the same as visitors to the beach."
"Beautiful peaceful surrounding in an ideal location to view the beaches close by. Frenchman Cove being my favourite. Goblin Hill is private and serene for a couple or family reunion. Food from their restaurant is delicious, especially the pumpkin soup. It was easy to get around via the local taxis. All the staff were very kind and helpful. The stairs to the beach is very tricky to use so use the main road."
