Great location. Walkable to downtown Hood River. Close to the fruit loop and Mt Hood hikes. Clean hot tub with a beautiful natural cover. You can even see the top of Mt Hood from the roof.
Awesome large house with a very private hot tub. Nice place with everything we needed. Cozy place to stay we loved it. The driveway is EXTREMELY treacherous though. Would not want to drive it in the winter.
We loved our stay here! Close enough to walk to the bars, restaurants & shops downtown but feels secluded at the same time. The house itself is huge & beautiful with lots of outdoor space (esp. loved the view from the roof deck)! Driveway is a little tricky & steep (which wasn’t an issue in summer, especially if you’re comfortable backing up & don’t have large cars, but something to note for winter guests).
Nice place steep driveway lots of steps . Driveway is dangerous when icy out
Enjoyed our stay everyone had there own bedroomand bathroom.

Great House with Views
Great condo close to downtown Hood. Views from the balconies are fantastic. Driveway is super steep but manageable. Would definitely stay here again on a return trip to Hood.
Great house and location! Views were spectacular. Only downside was the driveway. It was decently steep and required a sharp multi point turn to get to the garage. Other than the driveway I would recommend.
Spectacular views, I would recommend driving a small vehicle, driveway is crazy, home is beautiful, could use coat hooks, towel hooks in bathrooms, followed instructions for fireplace but it wouldn’t light, some end/coffee tables would be nice to place a beverage on, kitchen was nicely equipped. We really enjoyed the walking path right at bottom of driveway. Home is in a great location for visiting the downtown.
The Hazel House is in a perfect location, with great Mountain View’s. Inside the house was good, a few minor maintenance issues, but the owner is responsive. The driveway is not good for large vehicles, but there is parking at the bottom of the lot.
All in all, I would rent the Hazel House again.

House has seen better days
Great location and good layout. The driveway is very tough to navigate if you have cars with bikes on the back and overall, the space seemed like it could use some sprucing up. Broken fireplace, stained carpets, threadbare towels, etc.

Great views, lovely home
Our stay was wonderful and we REALLY appreciated having a nice place to stay with our dog! The only downsides were that the fireplace has seemed to be “out of order” for quite a long time (which was unfortunate because that was one of the reasons we chose this place) and there were quite a few of those black and red flying beetles all over in the house. Not sure where they are getting in from because all doors and windows were closed but it add a bit of an “ick” factor to the stay. Overall it was a great place to stay to enjoy Hood River and ski at Mt. Hood, then come home and relax in the hot tub!

Lovely views
This home has lovely views and is spacious for families with a large open kitchen and living area. We enjoyed the fireplace and the hot tub! The yard is also very nice.
As per prior reviews, the property has a problem with beetle infestation which was quite unpleasant--we found them in the carpet, beds, and window sills. Management was notified and has assured me they will address. The driveway is tricky in the snow so be sure you have chains/4wd before you attempt.
The house was great for our group of 7 women celebrating a friends 40th. Loved the location with trail access at the base of the driveway. The driveway is one of the steepest I’ve encountered, but wasn’t a problem for us. The view from the living room was awesome. Kitchen was stocked to meet our needs. It would have been nice to have an additional sleeping area on the top floor but we didn’t even end up using that area or the rooftop deck. The only suggestion would be blackout shades in the bedroom is always a nice option.

Great House With A View!
This was an excellent house for our party of 8 over the New Years Holiday. The views are excellent and proximity to town and the mountain were great. The driveway is a bit "adventurous" but we were able to coordinate a large suv and truck for parking. Apple Maps will get you close but not quite, so you should just look for a small wooden out building with the address on it at the entrance to a public walking trail and then you'll know you've found the driveway. One review said they could not find it in the dark and I can see how that might be possible. Hot Tub on the roof is really cool as well. Overall a great stay for the family!
The house was great, clean and as described in the listing. Kitchen was reasonably well appointed. Easy walk down to downtown Hood River. Unfortunately we had two bats in the home on the first night of our stay. One was in a bedroom, which resulted in those people having to sleep in the living room because we couldn’t get the bat to leave through a window. Then another bat appeared in the living room and smacked one of our group in the face. The management company was not particularly helpful in dealing with this situation. So bottom line, it was a great house except for the bats and lack of help from the management company.
We booked our trip well in advance to stay at a different home. It snowed the day before and we were contacted by arrive and told that we could choose between two other homes because the one we had booked wouldn't be available with the snow in the drive apparently. The home we chose was a big modern home with lots of amenities and family friendly. The homes we were given the option of were small, outdated with less amenities and listed for cheaper then the home I booked. I then asked the person at arrive if we would be getting a discount then and she hesitantly said she would look into because I had just gotten a really good deal on the nicer home I booked. She called back and offered me a modern loft with many of the amenities the other home we booked had at the same price. We already had this trip planned with activities so I agreed. When we got there we found the home to be clean and beautiful but far from family friendly. It had four flights of stairs with terrifying railings for my toddler. There were only 3 locks that worked on the 5 exterior door home. There were passive aggressive notes on a few things that made it very unwelcoming my biggest issue is the thermostat was set at 50 degrees the note said it could only be turned up 2 degrees an hour or we would be charged the cost of repair if the unit froze and it reset everyday at a certain time so the house was always cold. My husband did of course misplace the key in the home and we were charged $129 for that which fine that was our fault however that seems a bit high for a single key when alot of the locks didn't work to begin with. More than half the snow was melted when we got there I think we should have been rented our original home or discounted more for the inconvenience. Overall not a fan of the company arrive the home is beautiful and clean for the right group not a good fit for a family trip with littles.
Wonderful views. Comfortable furnishings. Nice open layout for the living and kitchen, making for a great place for my family to reunite and swap stories. Two thumbs up!
The one and only thing is we couldn’t figure out the fire place the second night and didn’t hear back until the next day and was too late to use it! Other than that we had a great time! Beautiful view, great outdoor areas to hang out, hot tub was great!
