Aloha! This condo has everything you'll need for an amazing Hawaiian vacation! We selected this condo because we love the layout and the ability to comfortably sleep 8 people. Also, the grounds at the Papakea Resort are immaculately maintained and have something for everyone (2 swimming pools, 2 hot tubs, 2 tennis courts, 2 putting greens, 2 shuffleboard courts, barbecue grills, activity desk, 5-minute walk to the beach and more!) The custom kitchen has stainless steel appliances and fine features such as glass tile back splash and granite countertops. All bathrooms have been updated with new sinks, toilets, showers, tubs and towels. Bedrooms have also been updated with new furniture, mattresses and high thread count linens throughout. The master bedroom has a king sized bed and 32' flat screen HD TV, with adjoining en-suite complete with double sinks, tub and shower. It is also equipped with a very large closet. The second master bedroom on the lower level has a queen sized bed and adjoins to the main bathroom, which also has double sinks, a shower and a smaller closet. The penthouse/loft area was designed to be family friendly and sleeps up to 4 people comfortably. Perfect for families with kids, this loft area has one queen sized bed and a couch that can pull out to be a double hide-a-bed. In the back bonus room is yet another sleeping area with a queen and full bed. The loft also has its own bathroom with a single sink and shower. There are thoughtful accents, hand picked and placed by a professional interior designer throughout the entire condo, from visually pleasing lights to fine features such as bamboo flooring, plantation style and shaker style cabinet doors and original artwork. The living room also has a 50" Smart TV and a comfortable seating area perfect for visiting or just lounging around. You will find a fully stocked kitchen complete with some "pay it forward" items such as condiments and spices, left from previous guests. You will also find a number of BBQs poolside available to you on a first come, first served basis. We love little extras and have placed them all around, such as a second wine/beverage fridge, an ample supply of beach towels, hair dryers, an iPod docking station/clock radios in each bedroom and for those with small children: a play pen, stroller and a high chair. There is a “Fun Cupboard” so please help yourself to anything in the closet next to the bar fridge in the front room. It’s a push door so “push” to pop it open. We like to call this the “Fun Cupboard” because we never know what is in there as it can change. We have left things for you to enjoy and other guests have done the same. Could be things such as coolers, beach chairs, beach umbrellas, boogie boards, snorkel masks and fins, golf clubs and balls for the putting green and various sand toys. Enjoy! We have also provided a starter set of the following items to help you get settled in: • Paper Towels • Toilet Paper • Liquid Dish Soap • Liquid Hand Soap • Dishwasher Pods • Laundry Pods • Kitchen Trash Bags The condo is situated so that when you are in the kitchen, your view out the lanai (balcony) is a straight on shot of the ocean. It's a spectacular way of waking up in the morning and a great way to enjoy a meal. One of our favorite things to do is to wake up and enjoy some Kona coffee on the lanai every morning or then enjoy some 'pupus' (that's Hawaiian hors d'oeuvres) in the afternoon. With the gorgeous and comfortable outdoor furniture, we guarantee it will be one of your favorite things to do as well. Our condo is thoughtfully intended to be 'spa like' with hints of island paradise accents all around you making it so warm and inviting. We've designed our 'little piece of Heaven' to be enjoyed by families or couples just wanting to get away to their own private oasis and with your rest and relaxation in mind. When it comes to things to do while you're here, there is an orientation session in the Cabana building next to the pool each morning that will tell you all the fun things available to you while you’re here, if interested. There is also an onsite Expedia representative in the Papakea main building and they can coordinate a wide array of island adventures for you. Anything from bicycling down a volcano, zip lining in a rain forest, learning how to surf, horseback riding, scuba diving, whale watching, parasailing, snorkel tours on or around the island and much, much more. There is simply so much to see and do and the Expedia representative can make recommendations and take care of all the details for you. Justin and Tanya’s property gave us what every family with children hopes for on a vacation: convenience. Thanks to the many beds and bathrooms, adults and children were able to bathe and sleep/nap comfortably. The washer and dryer were very helpful with children. It was the perfect home base between beach trips and helpfully provided beach chairs, an ice chest, boogie boards, an umbrella and beach towels. The kitchen was well stocked for our needs. The view from the lanai was spectacular and most of us found ourselves gazing out mornings and evenings. The grounds were lovely. This property was the perfect condo for our family to spend 7 nights. There were 6 adults, a 17 year old, a 10 and 8 year old, and we were accommodated well. There were enough beds for everyone, so no one had to sleep on a sofa sleeper. As in the description, this condo had a grand view of the ocean from the kitchen/living room, was stocked well with necessities, clean, and the "fun closet" had everything possible that we needed for our enjoyment of the beach (5 minute walk). The kitchen was well equipped, with more appliances than we needed. The sunsets were phenomenal ! Thank you for allowing us to stay here. We would definitely return here again, should we venture back to Maui. ##### John S. We had seven in our group and were very comfortable. The rooms were all very nicely decorated and clean. The view of the ocean and the lovely gardens made the stay so special. Also, across the street are some great eating places and shave ice. Just down the street a few blocks is The wailers Village. Lots of shops and eateries plus free parking for Ka’anpali Beach. Beautiful sandy beach. Appreciate the beach wagon, chairs, boogie board and spare water shoes you provided. Location was perfect for going north to see blowhole or south to Kihei and further. Loved our stay and would definitely stay here again. ##### Donna M. Sufficient sleep options, great to have 3 bathrooms too. Had everything we needed in kitchen! We had an issue with the upstairs AC but just called the number provided and they were able to walk us through resolving over the phone (we had to run and get new batteries for the remote, apparently can’t use it without working remote). Great view too! Bummed that it’s not available for our dates next year, but would definitely stay again if calendars and pricing align! ##### Ronda S. Our kids are 17,18,22 and 22 and they each had their own bed without someone having to sleep on a sofa bed. This is very difficult to find and we were happy to have found it! The rooms were exactly what we needed and the beds were all comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and the beach chairs and wagon etc were an added bonus! The A/C worked well, It was actually too cold at times on the main level and we turned it warner. The upstairs bedroom was too warm with the door shut so we left it open and the temperature was cool enough for us. The resort grounds were well kept and the staff were very nice and friendly. We will definitely refer friends to this property and will stay again if we return to Maui! ##### Tami C. There are two bedrooms with private baths on the first floor of the condo. Then the bathroom and loft with a bed and couch and bedroom upstairs with two beds. The air condition worked just fine and cooled off quickly. The grounds are beautiful. The view from this property was beautiful. The beach area is not necessarily swimmable, but Hawaii is about beach hopping and exploring anyway. Although, the lounge chairs by the edge of the water on the grass under the palm trees were very nice. The 4 chairs and the umbrella and cooler and wagon were awesome to have. The closet is also full of beach toys. We didn't have any little ones, but they sure had everything you would need for them. It was 6 adults for us and even though the kitchen is smallish we had no complaints. I have stayed in a lot of properties and they truly had a well stocked kitchen with pans that you can actually cook on. We used the grills by the pool and they were in perfect shape. We always had a parking spot. We played pickle ball on the courts one morning. The glow in the dark putt putt at night was awesome. And on Thursdays the Mai tai happy hour by the pool was a bonus which has just started back. This property was perfect, comfortable, and convenient for our family of 6\. The location is perfect too. Close to Black rock and other amazing beaches and hikes in West Maui. Mahalo ##### Leslie B.
