I typically don’t write feedback but felt compelled to leave our comments so others have an accurate description of the property. This house was nothing like the photos and we felt very misled. The house is fairly dark - there is never a point during the day where it’s as bright as the photos show. Almost every blind was broken, the deck furniture was broken and patio chairs unusable, the house wasn’t clean with dirt on the window sils, baseboards, drawers, etc, the mantel had a bunch of random stuff on it, there were 2 “Sunday-Saturday” full medicine containers in one drawer, there weren’t enough plates, glasses, etc for all 8 of us, there was a door off the hinge shoved under the downstairs bed, the couch and dining table cushions are stained, there are a few pots and a few metal bowls, and random kitchen utensils thrown in a drawer, so not a ton of kitchen items. This is a rental house you would have lived in during your 20s furnished with your parents old furniture and kitchen items they didn’t need anymore. If you just need a place to sleep and not convene, this might work.We did use the Chambers pass (although they didn’t have our name so a bit of a hassle) which was nice and the filtered lake view is pretty. There are 3 or 4 beach chairs that we used too. Otherwise, the space is bare and uncomfortable. We sent concerns to Avari and they were dismissive. A small discount would have gone a long way. We will never rent from them again either. Beware.
