Everything about this property is fantastic! The unit is decorated very nicely and it was clean when we checked in. The owner was accommodating when we asked to check in an hour earlier than check in, which was appreciated after our long drive south.
Now let's talk location... A one minute walk down the path out back gets you to what feels like a private beach. If you want to find good shells in the morning, get up early (6am) and walk the beach. After breakfast load up the wagon with a cooler, towels and some beach chairs and you're set for the day. All of those items are provided by the owner. If it's not a beach day, hang out at the pool. There are plenty of chairs and tables on the patio and each unit has its own grill. You're right in the middle of the island here but it's still a nice and quiet residential area. The free trolley stop is a half block away and will take you all over the island. There is a Publix grocery store, Dunkin Donuts, Walgreens, and some souvenir shops within walking distance to the unit as well.
If staying for a week, you may want to consider bringing some additional dishwasher detergent, trash bags, toilet paper, paper towels, and laundry soap if you plan to do some laundry. Some of these items are provided but not enough for a week's stay (in my experience this is very typical for rentals, which usually provide only a starter pack of these items).
We actually tried booking the entire triplex for ourselves and some friends for next year the first day we were here but units seem to book up quickly on the island. And for good reason. We'll definitely be returning and would love to have the opportunity to stay here again!
