"The stay was lovely, and the property has a great location and vibe! There was a little confusion getting in, just because the listing doesn't make it look like there are 2 separate sructures (garage/hot tub/ large bedroom w/ mini bar up top and main house with kitchen/ pool table/ bedrooms/ living room down by the lake). However, the home itself is lovely, and in a prime location on the lake! Shower curtain and bath rugs up top weren't the cleanest, but the rest of the home was in great shape....

"House is beautiful! Host was amazing. Our truck battery was dead and it took us a while to replace it on checkout day. Host totally accommodated us AND offered to help but wouldn't let us pay extra for late checkout. Excellent experience, very kind man. Thank you!"

"This property was absolutely perfect for our weekend stay. It is very aesthetically pleasing, and comfortable. The backyard is a perfect setting, with a fire pit right on the water. We sat out there and watched the big swans on the lake. The location was perfect. We attended the Michigan game and the travel to and from the stadium was short and no traffic. There were tons of places to eat that was close by. This property is at the top of my list of places to stay!!!"

"The home was perfect for our weekend family retreat. We used every bed and every bathroom! If you do have the capacity maxed like we did bathroom sharing is a challenge but we all seemed to make it work. Our one request to the owner would be to add a nice sized mirror in each bedroom where guests may complete their dressing etc outside the coveted bathroom. 😉 The kitchen was spacious and had plenty of seating. It was a real gathering place. And the setting of the home amid the trees with lights...

"The Cottage is first class. We enjoyed Christmas and New Year's this year. It was spacious, comfortable, immaculate, functional, and well maintained. The owners even took the time to elegantly decorate the home in Christmas attire. It is close to Frankenmuth and Detroit. A perfect retreat for a family at any time of the year."

"Beautiful cabin set on a wooded yard with everything you need for a fun and enjoyable day. Nice patio area with everything you could use to relax and make your stay a much needed and fun get away."

"Due the weather we did not use the hot tub or lake activities. The home is well maintained, clean and as advertised. The host was available to answer questions. Instructions tor arrival were clear. Two minor issues: The house number is not available from the street. It would be nice if the number is on the house by the street. There are four ceiling fan/light remotes. The batteries were dead or missing, so the controls wouldn't work. We replaced the batteries so we could control them."

"The cottage was our home away from home for a week while visiting our cousin who is going to school at UM in Ann Arbor. The home is a short drive (25-30 min) from the Big House, so it was perfect for a UM football weekend. If you're looking for a quiet escape with EVERYTHING you could think to need for a week on the lake, this is it. Our family of 5 had an amazing trip out from CA. Can't wait to be back."
