This home is conveniently located only 5 minutes to the nearest restaurants and major stores and less than 10 minutes from downtown Branson and the Branson Landing! It is also only 15 minutes away from the new Buffalo Ridge championship golf course and World renowned Top of the Rock championship golf course. This home sits just 15 ft away from the shoreline of Taneycomo Lake. YES, you can fish from your back yard!! There is a brand new top of the line Hot Springs hot tub to soak in and relax and enjoy the beautiful view! The massive living area is truly a masterpiece! There are 20 ft ceilings with beautiful exposed full log beams, a wall of windows with gorgeous views of the lake, wood and natural coral stone floors, a floor to ceiling natural coral stone wood burning fireplace, a large flat screen tv, quality and comfortable chairs and couches with beautiful accent pieces all around. Hanging from the ceiling, you will notice a custom made, solid wood canoe that adorns the entire living area. The separate dining space has a custom made handcrafted natural tree trunk glass table with leather seating. Just outside the living area is a relaxing sunroom with a bar and stools. You will also find many LCD TV's throughout the home to watch your favorite movies or shows or shows when the sun sets or late in the evening. The kitchen is one of a kind! It is furnished with quality custom cabinetry, granite countertops, high-end stainless appliances, top of the line Viking gas stove with stainless vent hood, a deep-seated hammered copper farm sink, and a custom carved wood bar that sets the tone! the chandelier is also a beautiful piece of art that hangs above the incredible kitchen area. Inside the home, you will find 5 beautifully appointed bedrooms. The main king master is enormous with two huge closets, full log exposed beams throughout, private two stories tall stone coral fire place. Dual sinks with huge granite vanity, a large corner tub, custom stained glass window, and a custom river stone shower and walkway! The other main level king master bedroom overlooks the beautiful lake through the large windows has vaulted ceiling with solid log beams and has a full bath just right outside the bedroom door. Upstairs you will find another king bedroom with more space then ever and quality furnishings. walk across the catwalk and you will encompass a King master bedroom with a full bath attached. Just off the garage is a small bonus room with 2 twin beds and a queen bed--this room will sleep 4 children. The half bathroom is located on the main level. Outside you will step into your own private oasis! You will find huge towering oaks and sycamore trees canopying over the beautiful patio with firepit, top of the line propane grill, outdoor dining table and a brand new Hot Springs Hot Tub. The lake is so close to your backyard patio, you can practically fish off of it! Taneycomo lake is known for one of the best trout fishing lakes in the region. Flowing through the heart of Branson, Lake Taneycomo is the most diverse fishing lake in the country, sporting world-class rainbow and brown trout as well as bass, crappie, and blue gill angling. But it's most for its trout fishing. The current brown trout Missouri state record was caught on Lake Taneycomo on November 12, 2009\. The enormous brown trout weighed 28 pounds, 8 ozs!! It was 37 inches long with a girth of 24.75 inches. Questions and service was taken care of immediately for us. The fish were not biting there on Taneycomo, but we had a great time anyway. Lots of ping pong was played in the garage and we rented a pontoon for half a day on Tablerock. This house was furnished with so many games, ping pong, pool table, etc. and tv's in every room. We would highly recommend staying there to anyone and give it our highest rating possible. Thanks again to the owners and also their maintenance man for providing us with a great vacation. Hands down, the most supremely clean, wonderful, amazing cabin we have ever stayed in. (We have stayed in wonderful luxury cabins in Oklahoma and Colorado, but truly none compared to this.) It took a while to understand the flow of the river...ie...sometimes it is rolling swift like day one of our visit. But to our complete delight, the next two days were completely calm waters. And then the next day the water was rolling again. The view of the river was so calming, and the cold air off the water made the summer air easy to be around. Nightly, the canadian geese would fly through in formation over the water and dip their wings while soaring. The trout were so active in jumping out of the water. And two blue herring kept us captivated for an entire evening. Our Hosts maintained contact just to check in on us or to ask if we needed anything. It was nice to know that if we had needed help, they were just a call away. Again, we cannot say enough about how well this property is maintained. Now that was a picture perfect getaway. The Great Trout Lodge was truly a dream come true and a one of a kind lake house. From the spacious rooms to the massive living and dining room, getting the family together would be a breeze. We had a blast playing all the table games there. From the pool table, to foosball to ping pong to my favorite... air hockey. Let's not forget the arcade games. But the cream of the crop, was definitely the walk out to the double boat dock. Once you walk past the massive hot tub and the fish pond, you find a one of a kind view of Lake Taneycomo. The fire pit made for a picturesque place to chill while the boat dock offered plenty of room to tan and fish. We are already planning our next trip to the lodge with the family. Peaceful, beautiful and comfortable. The house and view was breathtaking. We played games, grilled fish caught off the dock, had a fire in the firepit, soaked and relaxed in the hottub and just breathed. The only kind of negative thing because of my knee problems, was the toilets are very very low. But a quick trip to the store fixed that. Also, the front door is very hard to open. Needs a new handle, but you can enter through the garage. We absolutely will be going back. The owners are wonderful people and kept in contact with us to make sure we were all taken care of. They even had a huge platter of cookies for us when we arrived. ##### WyAnn L. The natural setting, furnishings, amenities and hosts were the absolutely the best. I would give a higher rating but 5 stars is the best. Did I mention the hosts? Roni and Ralph were so gracious in every way. Even left a surprise to help celebrate my 70th birthday. The lodge has such a warm family vibe as soon as you walk through the door you can tell there have been many many memories made there. Despite having choices of things to do in Branson we opted to remain on property for most of our stay. We caught multiple trout right from the dock, more than when we rented a pontoon at Liley’s Landing. The lodge is impressive in structure, design and has something for everyone. I could go on but the description and amenities list is accurate so book it! You won’t regret it. ##### Vincent B. This property truly is AMAZING! The inside makes you feel like you’re in the Colorado Rockies and the outside is just as amazing!! There is so much this property offers for ALL ages. The toddlers LOVED the low windows where they could watch the outdoor activities, our young adults loved the kayaks and many games provided, us older adults loved the fishing, outdoor campfires and outdoor swings. But you know what everyone enjoyed most… those two huge double chairs overlooking the river. Views were spectacular…,deer drinking ant the rivers edge and geese floating the river. We’ve rented great homes in Colorado and Canada and this one topped them all. Ralph and Roni were so easy to work with, answering our every question within minutes. Definitely the best experience we’ve ever had. Oh! Did I mention the awesome holiday decorations both inside the home and outside! A huge hit for the entire family. Location couldn’t have been better either for all of our activities we had planned….Silver Dollar City, Dolly Parton Stampede, Sight & Sound Theater, and others. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the comfort and amenities this property had to offer. Each room boasted incredibly comfortable beds, ensuring a restful night's sleep for all in our group with room to spare. The chef's kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to prepare our meals throughout our stay, making cooking a breeze. The breathtaking view of the lake from the window was a highlight of our experience. It truly felt like we were transported to another world, offering a serene backdrop to our time together. The hot tub was a favorite among our team, providing relaxation and rejuvenation after a day of meetings and activities. With space to park two pontoons in the slip, we were able to explore the lake at our leisure. At night, the firepit was where we all gathered to tell stories and was just an awesome experience. The spacious dock became the heart of our retreat offering ample room for all of us to gather comfortably. We spent countless hours enjoying the beautiful surroundings and bonding as a team. The game room in the garage was a hit as well, providing endless entertainment with foosball, arcade games and ping pong. A huge thank you to the hosts for providing such an exceptional experience.
