Ideally located in the parish of St. James, just north of Holetown, the villa sits within walking distance of the prestigious Fairmont Royal Pavilion hotel. Our traditionally styled Bajan villa is one of only eight homes in Porters Court, a secure, gated private development. Surrounded by lush tropical gardens, Hibivillea offers its own private rear terrace with sun deck—an exclusive feature that sets it apart. Guests also enjoy access to a communal swimming pool, complete with sun loungers and shaded umbrellas. The magnificent white‑sand beaches of the West Coast are just a short stroll away—perfect for sunset walks and a cocktail by the sea. A wide selection of restaurants, shops, and hotel beach facilities are all within walking distance or a short drive along the scenic coastal road. Built in the traditional chattel‑house style, Hibivillea features hardwood floors, high pickled‑pine ceilings, and coral lighting. The villa is family‑friendly, offering everything you need to feel at home: Wi‑Fi, IPTV with Canadian, US and UK channels such as Sky and BT Sports, and a selection of books. The property includes two spacious, air‑conditioned bedrooms, each with twin beds that can be converted into kings, if preferred. Each bedroom has an en suite bathroom, one with a shower and one with a bath tub. Both rooms open directly onto the private rear terrace. The open‑plan lounge (also air conditioned) and dining area flow through double doors onto a covered patio furnished with a table, chairs. When the front and back doors are open, the villa enjoys a wonderfully refreshing cross‑breeze. A fully equipped kitchen includes an oven, washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, blender, k-pod type coffee maker, toaster, microwave, kettle and fridge with freezer. There is a small Weber propane BBQ on the porch. Four backpack style folding beach chairs with two attachable umbrellas and cooler boxes are available to take to the beach. As of February 2026, we have been added to a wait list for passes to the Fairmont Beach Club. Prior to arrival, you will be provided with a secure lockbox code for self‑check‑in. If not present on arrival, our property manager, Jeanine, or a member of her team at Sunset Dreams, will visit the following day. Porters Court offers secure electronic gates at the main entrance, and beach access is available through a coded rear gate. Grantley Adams International Airport is 21 km away (approximately 45 minutes with traffic). Airport transfers (with payment made directly to the driver) and groceries can be pre‑arranged for your arrival as well as many other concierge services offered by Sunset Dreams (for a fee). A beautiful 2 bedroom 2 bathroom villa with everything you need for a fantastic stay. Lovely terraces front and rear of the property and a gorgeous hammock that was well used. The villa was comfortable, welcoming and a perfect base for exploring this part of the country. The pool around the villas was excellent and there was always room on a sunbed there. ##### Neil G. It was completely equipped and comfortable for our extended stay. We ate all our meals on the porch and enjoyed the view of the bougainvillea and the smell of the orchid tree. We spent most of our days at the beach, but would enjoy the oasis of calm when arriving back to the villa. We walked to Lonestar and Jumas for supper, but there are also restaurants on the beach for lighter fare. We took the ten minute bus ride into Holetown to Massy grocery store, and then grabbed a taxi for the return trip. Sarah was a delight to deal with and Sheila with her twice weekly visits, kept the villa in tip top shape. We look forward to our return to paradise. ##### Catherine H. Well appointed, comfortable and in a very calm and relaxing location - we spent many hours on the porch and in the hammock enjoying the weather and watching the hummingbirds, the tropical birds, chickens and even green monkeys that would stop by to say hello. The kitchen is well appointed - we were there over Xmas and cooked dinner in many nights and had everything we needed. The beach is literally a 5 minute walk away - there is a little back walkway that leads directly to the front of the Fairmont hotel and the local bus to holetown. The beach is amazing beach and you can rent beach loungers and umbrellas for the day (go to the end of the fairmont hotel in the direction away from Holetown and look for the Blue umbrellas and loungers which are for rent for th eday). The neighborhood is very safe and we walked to the local bakery and minimart almost daily and we took the local bus to Holetown too (a 10 min ride and bargain at $3.50). Sarah was a great host and even kindly arranged our taxis. Lovely place and we will be back again soon. ##### Ilana B. It’s location is absolutely perfect ! A minute walk to a bus stop and only a five minute walk to Alleynes Bay beach. On this gorgeous beach you can find several beach bars including jujus and the wonderful Lone Star Restaurant. There are sunbeds to hire and water sports facilities, including waterskiing and inflatable rides. As for the development of Porters Court, it’s very peaceful with beautiful tropical gardens. There are just 8 cottages with a lovely, good sized communal pool. Number 2 is one of the larger properties and the only one with a large decked area to the rear of the property which can be accessed by both back doors. Both bedrooms are of a good size and both are en-suite. There’s plenty of bedding and bath and beach towels. The kitchen is large and has all the equipment that is needed, including a dishwasher and cool boxes to take your beers down to the beach. The house has both ceiling fans and AC. The lounge in airy and light with excellent WiFi and sky TV. Our favourite part of the property is the wrap around veranda with table and chairs to eat at and hammock to laze on. The property owner and manager and both great to deal with and reply to questions quickly. To sum up a lovely relaxing property in a beautiful lush location close to all amenities of near by Holetown. We look forward to visiting again on the 20th Dec this year for Xmas. We had a few little niggles when we arrived, but easy communication with both Sarah and Jeannine, the property manager, got things sorted and it did not spoil our enjoyment of staying there. A booklet giving details of places to eat, transport, emergency services, location of doctors etc would be useful for first time visitors, but as someone who knows the island this didnt affect us. The property was very clean with all the items required for a very pleasant stay. It was just the holiday we needed. Our friends Louise, and her family have stayed at this villa many times and they recommended it to us. We loved this villa for its excellent location to the beach and also it is the only villa within the 8 on the complex that has a private back decking area perfect for privacy. Sarah the owner was available through correspondence during our stay and even checked we had landed safely in the UK on the morning of our return, to less than blue skies! Traditionally we have stayed in a hotel but we decided on a villa holiday this year and we both agree we would no longer return to hotel /room living again. The villa was a perfect location for ourselves, a mere few minutes walk to the beach and near the Fairmont Royal Pavilion Hotel and Beach club. We had several lunches at the beach club and then walked along the beach often ending up for a late afternoon drink on the decking of the lone star. What we loved about this villa was it is in such close easy proximity to Holetown and the large supermarket aswell as being near such an array of restaurants. The villa was clean, and the maid comes once a week. It felt very secure having a code gated entrance and also codes to access the back of the complex. My wife enjoyed watching the birds in the garden, especially the humming birds, the gardens are beautifully maintained. The pool area is very relaxed and the clientele that were in the other villas were professionals and we made some good friends for life. Sarah arranged for us to have some shopping delivered on our arrival and also arranged a taxi pick up and we paid for this locally. The property manager Jeanine was also on hand if we needed anything during our stay. Alot of breeze comes through the villa as you can open doors at the front and the back of the villa so it is pleasant, we did not find it necessary to use Air conditioning. The beach nearby was fantastic with the local bus stop to Holetown a few minutes walk away. A car is not essential for your stay but we hired one for a few days so we could visit the other side of the island. The villa was delightful with a relaxed vibe offering the privacy of a rear decking which we found very peaceful to enjoy our morning coffee. Sarah the owner was wonderful to deal with when we booked , and had an amazing knowledge of the island. We were met by the property manager on arrival and she was on hand if we needed any questions answered. We are already looking to return next year to this gem of a villa .. my partner and i would fully recommend this property and in particular its location .. I wish we were there now ! ##### James R. Now we have found Hibivillea 2 Porters Court we can feel happy and relaxed in Barbados more than ever and intend to book again . We loved this property ..the location is superb and cental and a mere few minute's from the beach. Sarah the owner is so knowledgeable of the island having spent so much of her childhood there and a recent marketing and events company also, she owned there , a charming lady. The villa is the only one in the small porters complex with a private back decking, it was a joy to wake up in a morning and open the side door in the bed room straight onto the privacy and warmth of the decking. The villa has new modern uk TV systen, that was nice in the evenings to catch up on programmes or watch a good film after a sun downer. The location of the beach is ideal and we spent some time at the Royal Fairmont beach club who welcome all guests. You don't need a car where the villa is located but Sarah arranged one for part of our stay so we saw the east coast and she told us of some secret hideaways knowing the island so well. Sarah was on hand even when we arrived and we could communicate to her whenever needed. The villas property manager was also excellent and the maid was friendly and can also cook ..so if you fancy some home cooked bajan food she will provide. All beach towels are provided in the villa which we found helpful. The overall complex at porters is quaint and quiet and safe and the pool was warm and clean. Total value for money and we cannot wait to return. Because of the back decking access at the back of the property and the additional doors the wind and air travel right through the property making it cooler and pleasant and rarely need use of air con. .. excellent cannot wait to go again .. ##### Sarah R.
