Salamanca Market is open every Saturday, rain or shine, from 8.30am to 3pm. I would also recommend the Farm Gate Market, which runs on a Sunday morning from 8.30am to1pm. The market is located on Bathurst Street, Getting Around: For the optimal experience exploring Hobart and its surroundings, having a car is advisable. Yet, if you rely on public transportation, there's a conveniently located bus stop nearby with regular services commuting to the CBD.
