This was a great house to stay in, excellent facilities with lots of shops in very close proximity. 3 bedrooms was just the right size for us, plenty of space, warm and cozy - highly recommend this place

New bathrooms and comfy bed. However, the digital lock does not work consistently and often requires two to three attempts before the door opens which is frustrating. Some of the dishes in the kitchen were oily and we found other guests’ takeaway lid under the couch.
Everything was just wonderful, i would highly recommend this cottage. It felt like home straight away we would stay again for sure. Thank you to the owners.

Dear Guest, Thank you for your review of your cottage. We are pleased that "your home away from home" was all that your required for your stay.
We thank you for your feedback and high commendation and look forward to seeing you again in the near future.
Loved the cottage and Art Deco touches which have been kept in the property. The en-suite shower was clogged so we couldn’t use this bathroom. We found feedback from the previous tenant that they had reported the maintenance issue but it hadn’t been fixed. The tap in the other bathroom was also dripping.

Dear Guest, Thank you for your recent review.
We are pleased that you liked the original Art Deco touches.
We are sorry to hear that the ensuite shower is blocked.
We are unaware that any previous tenant has reported this to reception. Reporting maintenance issues in a review is simply not a way of addressing maintenance issues. Maintenance issues need to be reported to reception so that any maintenance can be addressed quickly.
We will check the shower in the ensuite bathroom now that you have bought this to out attention.
Thank you for posting your review and we would suggest next time reporting any maintenance issues directly to the property so that the same can be addressed in a timely manner.
Close to bus & woolworths for groceries. Having a pin instead of a key is good as 2 couples can go their separate ways for a day & not have to worry about who is back first to open the house.

Thank you for your review of your stay. Yes both cottages are very close to both Woolworths Supermarket and bus stops.
We are pleased that you found our Smart Lock entry locks with your own unique code convenient and to your liking as there are simply no keys to loose or share.
We hope that you may be able to return in the near future.
Property was really good and excellent condition and easy to access

Thank you for your review, we always appreciate our customer feedback. We are glad you enjoyed your stay and found the property to be of a high standard. We hope to be able to host you again.
Kind regards,

We required an apartment to suit 3 adults and 1 teenager. Moonah apartments, Amy Cottage, was very clean and comfortable for our quick trip to Hobart. The layout was 3 bedrooms - 2 queen beds (one with ensuite) and 2 king single bed, suited us perfectly. It was nice they supplied a big jar of drinking chocolate and ground coffee for the percolator, plus your normal satchels. It is walking distance to shops and 5 minute drive to Hobart city.

Hi Jenny, Thank you for your review of your recent stay in Amy Cottage.
We are pleased that you found all to your liking and comfort. Hope that you enjoyed the brand new Ensuite Bathroom.
We are pleased that you also liked the additional detail and items supplied such as hot chocolate and ground coffee.
as you mentioned Moonah is only around 5 minutes or so from Hobart and a similar distance to MONA and 150 Metres from Woolworth's Supermarket and speciality shops and restaurants.
We hope that you may be able to return in the near future and thank you for sharing your experience staying in Amy Cottage as part of Moonah Central Apartments.
We also have a 4 bedroom/2 bathroom grand residence close by called Hopkins on Charles should you need larger accommodation for your extended family in the future.
Out of the CBD however liads of room and very well equipped. Easy booking and checking in. Everything needed was supplied. Easy transport to waterfront . Great place to stay would recommend it.

Hi Kath, Many thanks for your review.
We are pleased that you found your accommodation to your liking with everything needed to make your stay comfortable.
We do try and equip both Amy Cottage and Hopkins on Charles with all that we believe will help guests feel as if they are in their home away from home.
As you mentioned our accommodation is not situated in the CBD but in Moonah some 5mins plus drive from Hobart only 150M from the Moonah Central shopping district, restaurants and speciality shops.
Thank you for your recommendation.
We warmly welcome you to come and stay again in the near future.
had the power board overload that i myself had to fix cuz no one was available (they didnt even know where it was), one occasion got home to find the safe key had been accessed and locked cupboards inside opened. towards the end started feeling very unsafe in the house. after i left received a call from the owner telling me they couldn't find the key when i personally left it on the table and charged me for it. dont trust these people.
Pros- Fully equipped house, nearby restaurants : Thai, Chinese, Korean, Texan. 3mins walk to supermarket, 5mins to BWS
Cons - No free wifi, too soft beds causing backaches. Pots and pans can be cleaner.
I highly recommend staying here. Great value for money with extra added touches like child friendly serving ware, dvds, toasted sandwich maker, and a torch. Close to everything but very quiet.
we chose here as we thought it was close to Hobart, of course it was not, fortunately we had a car and could get back and forward to the hospital with relative ease. Interesting suburb would not recommend night time walks as there were some interesting characters wandering around. Clean tidy and excellent facilities suited our dual family visiting situation. Nice host.

It located near Woolworths & food court area . We stay 6 nights here with fairly good service. We suggest such old traditional style apartment need match new ideas to renovate all facilities in the possible condition frequently. Heating is not enough in bathroom. Electric blankets & foot paddle of rubbish bin is out of order. Old glass of windows are not secure to open it .We fear of the risk of someone jump in when open the windows.

Thankyou Lydia for your review. We are glad you found the shopping nice and convenient. We will review the electric blankets but wish you had phoned reception to advise us of your concerns so we could have replaced same.Windows are non opening for your security. The house is centrally heated for your comfort maybe you could not find the controls for this. Thankyou again for staying in our 1934 traditional house.
It is a big house with 4 bedrooms in traditional Australian style, enough space to accomodate 8 adults comfortably. The backyard is enough to accomodate a few cars as well. Worth to note that the house is located in quiet residential area, and it is around 5 to 10 mins drive from the downtown Hobart. Generally a happy stay.
