Located on the lower floor of the beautifully restored Edinburgh Guesthouse, this comfortable twin room offers a practical and affordable base for exploring Hobart. While the room does not offer external views, it provides a quiet and welcoming space to relax after a day of sightseeing, business or adventure.

The room features two comfortable single beds, making it ideal for friends, colleagues or solo travellers who prefer separate sleeping arrangements. Electric blankets are provided to keep you warm during Tasmania`s cooler months, while a portable heater ensures the room remains comfortable throughout your stay.

Guests have access to the shared bathrooms, located on the top floor of the guesthouse. These facilities are maintained regularly to ensure a clean and comfortable experience for all guests.
The room also includes a television with free-to-air channels, a mini fridge, kettle, mugs and glasses. Complimentary tea, coffee and sugar are supplied, making it easy to enjoy a hot drink whenever you like.

Guests also have access to the fully equipped communal kitchen, located on the middle floor, where you can prepare breakfast, lunch or dinner throughout your stay.

If you`re travelling by car, one parking space is available per room in the guesthouse car park.

Edinburgh Guesthouse is a boutique guesthouse comprising nine private guest rooms spread across multiple floors. While each guest has their own private room, the property includes shared spaces such as the communal kitchen and shared bathrooms.

As this is a shared guesthouse in Hobart`s CBD, you may occasionally hear noise from other guests using the common areas, moving through the hallways or arriving and departing, as well as some traffic noise from Macquarie Street. We ask all guests to respect one another by observing quiet hours between 10:00 pm and 7:00 am.

To help ensure the safety and security of our guests and the property, security cameras operate in the building`s common areas, including entrances and selected corridors. There are no cameras inside guest rooms, bathrooms or any other private spaces. These cameras are used solely for security, safety and insurance purposes.

Please note that we are currently undertaking renovations to several rooms within the guesthouse, primarily on the lower floor. As a result, you may see tradespeople coming and going during the day and hear occasional construction noise during normal working hours. We aim to keep any disruption to a minimum and appreciate your understanding as we continue improving the property for our guests.
Quiet hours are strictly observed between 10:00 pm and 7:00 am. During this time, please keep noise to an absolute minimum in your room, the hallways, communal kitchen and all shared spaces.
Please be respectful of other guests staying in the guesthouse. Avoid knocking on other guests` doors or attempting to enter any room other than your own.
If you use the communal kitchen or shared bathrooms, please leave them clean and tidy for the next guest.
Wash, dry and put away your dishes after use. Please do not leave dirty dishes, food or rubbish in the shared kitchen.
Dispose of rubbish in the appropriate bins and help keep the shared areas clean and welcoming.
Please respect other guests` privacy at all times. Everyone is here to enjoy a relaxing and comfortable stay.
Smoking and vaping are not permitted anywhere inside the building.
Only registered guests are permitted to stay overnight.
