Our apartment was a little run down compared with last time we stayed six months ago. Musty/damp smell in kitchen/living area. Master bed saggy in the middle, needs new mattress. Fridge not cold and kept beeping. Only one blanket on each bed during Tasmanian winter and no spares. The apartment was warm and quiet. Unfortunately, the apartment was not as clean as it could be. The oven was very dirty, the pots were ‘well used’, and the range hood was ‘under maintenance’. Some of the bedding was stained. There was also nowhere to place soap, shampoo etc. in the shower. It is up a steep hill, so if you are on foot and have fitness problems maybe it’s not for you. Was very difficult to keep the window and sliding doors free from condensation so didn’t always get a good view. Also having to climb 23 steps with all our bags was rough.
