Check-in process was easy and apartment was fantastic- really clean and all amenities available including a fully equipped kitchen. Our apartment was a little run down compared with last time we stayed six months ago. Musty/damp smell in kitchen/living area. Master bed saggy in the middle, needs new mattress. Fridge not cold and kept beeping. Only one blanket on each bed during Tasmanian winter and no spares. The apartment was warm and quiet. Unfortunately, the apartment was not as clean as it could be. The oven was very dirty, the pots were ‘well used’, and the range hood was ‘under maintenance’. Some of the bedding was stained. There was also nowhere to place soap, shampoo etc. in the shower. The only downside was the queen bed desperately needs a new mattress. We both rolled into the middle of the bed. Didn’t get much sleep. It is up a steep hill, so if you are on foot and have fitness problems maybe it’s not for you.
