You'll find fewer crowds compared to the peak summer months, allowing for a more relaxed experience when visiting landmarks like the Antofagasta Cathedral or strolling along the waterfront promenade. For couples seeking a romantic getaway, these months provide an excellent balance. The milder weather is superb for enjoying al fresco dining at the many restaurants along the pedestrianised streets near Plaza Colón, and the lower tourist numbers mean a more intimate experience at local museums and art galleries.Families travelling with children will also appreciate the shoulder seasons. The comfortable temperatures are great for outdoor activities, such as spending time at the Parque Cultural or exploring the Muelle Salitrero Melbourne Clark without the discomfort of extreme heat.
