"Our experience at this resort was mixed. Sadly, most of the staff was disappointing and often appeared unmotivated.
Basic resort amenities such as toothpaste and toothbrushes were not provided; instead, we were told to purchase them from the gift shop, which was frustrating.
The food options were also disappointing. The meals were very repetitive with limited variety from day to day. In addition, the plates at the buffet were almost always dirty and did not appear properly cleaned. I also became ill with food poisoning, which I strongly suspect came from the vegetarian burger at the American Country restaurant.
One of the resort’s highlights is the wide variety of pools available. Many pools in different locations. The children’s pools were amazing, featuring slides and various water sprinklers. Adults could enjoy pools with swim up bars and music, creating a lively and enjoyable atmosphere. A wide variety of entertainment and activities for children, and the water park was a great addition. The resort grounds were extremely clean. Staff frequently wiped down common areas and consistently provided fresh, clean towels at the pool. The resort offers plenty of beach chairs, and the ocean view is truly incredible. However, umbrellas should be provided and there was very little nighttime entertainment for adults.
One standout experience was with Carlos (Carlito) at the front desk. He was excellent, accommodating & made the process easy at check out. "
