"Berkshires Untold is an appropriate name for the hotel because the photo I was given when I booked the room was of a different place altogether. False advertising. What we actually got was a room in a MOTEL. It had a filthy rug, a screaming loud AC, a dirty shower and it smelled of must. They couldn’t even sweep the welcome mats for their guests. Gross."

"This motel is a bit dated but well maintained. We plugged the toilet right off. Maintenance was there within 15 minutes to resolve the problem. The is no elevator, and you have to heave your luggage up a flight of stairs if room is on the second floor. Friendly staff, decent breakfast. Overall, we were satisfied with our one night stay."

"Pool was not usable due to the strong odor ,poor air quality and the bottom of the pool was covered in algae. Very disappointing on a ninety five degree day. Water pressure in the shower and sinks was very low .Wasted a lot of my time trying to rinse off. The pump soap provided got in my eyes and burnt so bad they were red and stinging. I had to go to the lobby desk and use the emergency eye wash station. No eye drops in the first aid kit . The mini fridge has a timed on switch.only makes cool for two hours. If you want to keep anything cold you literally have to reset it every couple hours. The cooling system is cycling on and off and very loud . It did not have an economy mode which would maintain the set level. Instead it ramps up full blast then shuts off until it loses the set temp. This goes on constantly while your trying to sleep. Otherwise the facility is pretty clean, bed and sheets were nice. The maintenance guy apologized for the pool condition.Which was still poor the next day. I shared most of this with the manager on duty upon check out. Staff were nice but not able to properly handle my concerns."
