Ran out of toilet paper. No tea at breakfast. Had to contact property to get key codes twice. They were to contact us with check in information. Never saw staff.

Vickie was super kind and helpful. Got the Market to make us a pepperoni roll since we still hadn't had one in our WV trip. Which isba place I also recommend! Quiche in the morning was good

Beautifully restored home in the heart of downton Hinton. Wonderful quiche breakfast is supplied daily in the refrigerator. This is a non-hosted BnB, meaning there are no owners at the house, but food and snacks are supplied. Great bed, wonderful jacuzzi tub, quiet A/C. We were the only guests in the entire house, so that was pretty fun!

Hinton was an adorable little town, and the bed and breakfast was perfect. The charming home decorated tastefully of the period it was built! Loved it. Quiche was delicious.

It felt as if we were the first guests to occupy the townhouse. Very nicely appointed. We could have used a couple more luggage racks and the upstairs bathroom would benefit from a small table for personal belongings, a couple of wall hooks and a towel bar by the shower—all small adjustments. Overall it was great.

Perfect fit
Very comfortable accommodations and easy communication with the owners. Nice that there was a small eatery within walking distance after traveling. Enjoyed my stay and the Quiche that awaited me in the morning!!

I arrived to a sink full of dirty dishes in the kitchen and a minuscule bedroom. I knew that the bedroom had a shared bathroom, but the bathroom door did not close and lock easily so that was a problem. Breakfast (still a sink full of dirty dishes and one clean cup) was a dozen eggs in the carton, two yogurts, margarine, various juices, dry “kid” cereals and oatmeal packets. I was told by text to heat up what I wanted.

Very neat property. Enjoyed the short walk to town and the front porch was the perfect place to chill after a day in the car. Breakfast was great also. Very pleasing stay!

Great renovation of an old home in a small mountain town. Electronic entry worked great; interior is very attractive. Large kitchen for shared use would be great for a group meeting or retreat.

Beautiful space a very good value.
This place far exceeded my expectation. It is an exquisite space. Full access to beautiful common rooms with top notch kitchen equipment. Jacuzzi and full shower. Double sinks. Comfortable bed. Tv with Netflix access on their account.

Centrally Located and Friendly People
Property managers were amazingly friendly. Nice, large property centrally located to many attractions such as Sandstone Falls, Pipestem and Bluestone Lake. There's a restaurant around the corner, on the same block, with AMAZING food. So convenient!! The house is a historical home with matching finishes but we were comfortable and truly enjoyed our stay.

Hinton WV. Who knew?
Last day of a long weekend in WV we were delighted with the accommodations. Because of the holiday weekend and COVID-19, there was a glitch with our no-contact breakfast, but our (virtual) host, Vickie, came up with a great work around. Thanks! Except for some street noise, absolutely perfect. Five stars.

Historic, Lovely and Warm.
The accommodations were lovely. The staff provided a COVID-19 style reception by text instead of face-to-face, and it worked perfectly! The 2-bedroom townhouse was charming, retaining it's classic original design and furnishing (a few compromises: internet, plenty of towels and modern kitchen appliances). Our travels only allowed one short night, but we plan on returning for a longer stay next time. We strongly recommend the Guest House Inn on Courthouse Square.

Winterplace skiing
We booked this property for a family of 5, for a last minute ski trip at Winterplace Ski Resort. Overall we liked the property, it was very clean, plenty of room. The town is cute, although we didn’t spend much time there. There was a lack of information in regards to the check in process. I prefer to have the address, door codes, etc prior to arrival. Other than that, we had no complaints, and really enjoyed our ski trip. It’s a bit of a drive to Winterplace, but was worth it to have a clean and roomy townhouse.

Our stay at the house was great however when we checked in we were told that breakfast would be delivered before morning but no breakfast arrived. When we left we were not told what to do with the keys and we did not feel comfortable leaving the door unlocked, we tried to call but no answer so we handled another way and when we were contracted they said our choice was okay. It was awful having cereal and oatmeal and no milk. Maybe we could get a refund for the breakfast that was included since we received none

Stayed during week for business. The Guest House is a great gem for the town. Their properties are well put together, very clean, staff very attentive. Bed linens really stood out great as very comfortable. I don't sleep well on the road, but this was a nice treat.

Loved this place, what a clean and comfortable inn with the location being right in town, the bedding had an amazing fresh smell that made me not want to get out of bed!! We had the whole house to ourselves which was a plus, we can’t wait to come back. The only thing was that they didn’t have our reservation but luckily that wasn’t a problem... so happy with everything, thank you...

Hinton overnight
Our overall experience was okay. The lady who met us to let us into the property was very polite. The company delivered a hot ham/cheese quiche. Nice touch. The unit was reasonably stocked with coffee, juice, milk, and some fruit. The unit was clean. A/C worked great. A few points of consideration: the website photos embellish the reality of the rental units. We ended up with a different unit than what we booked. This certainly wasn't the end of the world but unexpected. The biggest negative for us was the lack of food choices nearby. The area has a McDonalds, Dairy Queen, Subway, and a local dinner with small town operating hours. Sunday at 7 pm is not a good time to be a foodie in Hinton. We managed a comfortable nights sleep. If you are looking for an off the beaten path experience and realize what you are signing up for, this is a great choice. If you are looking for evening activities, food choices, and modern accommodations perhaps not.

Loved the location and the accommodations. Only thing is I would like a larger bed or 2 double beds. Was offered a fresh quiche each morning and Vickie was great! It was wonderful meeting people in the house and trying The Market Restaurant.
