Check-in/out was a breeze. The rooms were all comfortable and very quiet - I slept well here. The host thought of just about everything - movies, board games, books, spices, cookware... you name it. Our favorite time was sitting on the porch in the evening listening to the birds - we didn't see any deer in the yard during our short stay, but we say plenty just up the road on our way in, along with a pair of bald eagles that flew right in front of our car and landed in a tree next to the road. The grass was mowed each week. Of course, as the cabin is in the woods, there are lots of mosquitoes outside so bug spray is needed!! Two dark domestic bunnies were often in the yard but the neighbors dogs barely annoyed us. There is no walking access to the River from the cabin but you can drive to the river 1/2 mile away. Hinckley is a nice quiet town with a small good grocery store. ##### Elaine R. Kitchen is lovely & overall comfy & clean. We had plenty of room. Looks like some work is being finished up in the bathroom, possibly? There were lots of pantry items, towels, & paper products were well stocked.
