Understated elegance is the best way to describe the interior of this Hilton Head rental property located at 23 Pelican in Forest Beach. Entirely custom built and designer decorated. This design offers a split floor plan that features 3 bedrooms in the east wing and 3 bedrooms in the west wing with rooms on 3 different levels to provide privacy and quiet. The splendid moldings and columns, solid wood doors, wainscoting and chair rails, 12-foot ceilings with light coves and rounded ceilings and arches, just begin to describe the welcoming appeal of this wonderful Hilton Head home for rent. The design for this home creates a grand central great room with a striking two-story stone fireplace, built in bookshelves, dual wicker ceiling fan with wood coffered ceilings and special mood lighting. The main floor offers a great room, kitchen, formal dining room, laundry room, 2 King bedrooms, powder room and media room. The outside pool / hot tub area is private and features a soothing waterfall from the hot tub into the pool. This vacation home on Hilton Head boasts a completely screened lanai and has an outdoor kitchen with a gas grill. Also included is a poolside bathroom beautifully updated and equipped with a built-in sauna/steam room. With a wide range of age groups, 5-68, everyone had something to do. Swim in the heated pool, soak in the hot tub, sit in the sauna, shoot pool, play games, etc. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking or we were a short bike ride to Coligny for restaurants. Easy walk to the beach and very quiet neighborhood. We loved our vacation in Hilton Head! The house was really great for our group of 18\. It had everything we needed! The only thing negative I would say is that the living room furniture was a little weary looking. Exactly as it appeared in pictures. So many wonderful amenities - 2 dishwashers, outdoor shower for sandy feet, wonderful windows, great gathering space in- and out-doors. The house was clean and very spacious. Plenty of room in the kitchen for multiple people to work together to prepare meals. Each bedroom has a bathroom. The full bathrooms have showers. The 3 1/2 baths are well placed so you don't have to go into a bedrooms to use the bathroom. The beds are VERY comfortable. Due to being there in November, we had the pool heated so we were able swim everyday and use the hot tub. Fabulous! Also with being so close to the beach, we were able to walk to the beach one morning. The restaurants and shops were close but yet far enough away to enjoy the peace and quiet. All in all this house is at the top of our list of houses to re visit. Thanks to the wonderful management team who went above and beyond with their hospitality. ##### Karen B.
