This room was perfect for my stay in Hilo. It was clean and had all the amenities I needed. It was also a very quiet area but one would need a car for getting around as there was really no way to walk to stores/food etc, I had to rely on others in my reunion group to pick me up(which worked out OK! I would certainly stay here again(can't beat the price)!

Perfect space

Shared house with other units located in Hilo town. We had no issues with noise, unit was clean, and provided enough amenities for the few days we were there. Space has AC as well which was appreciated. Also, no coqui frogs in this area and that was nice.

Great room

We needed something simple and close to UH Hilo while we got our daughter settled. We had a mini fridge and microwave in the room which was handy when we were home bound for a day waiting out the tropical storm. Beach chairs, towels, an umbrella and flippers were even available which was so nice. Check out was simple. I thought the bed was comfy and the AC and fan kept the room comfortable. Laundry was $5 and all the supplies are there.

All the basics plus privacy

This property offers quiet and privacy, located as it is at the back of a lot bordering school athletic fields. Budget travelers will find all of the necessities of a hosted property, with the bonus of a small, covered porch with seating to contemplate the colorful foliage. Check-in and check-out, including return of deposit, went well. Finding it at night was a challenge. The fairy lights draped on the host’s mailbox An initial problem of the TV receiving no signal was resolved within 24 hours. A gray, long-haired cat belonging to the host makes occasional appearances, but shyness keeps the encounters brief & distant.

We booked this kind of last minute for Hawaii and I was pleasantly surprised by it. It was a very cozy and pretty room. The bed was super comfy. And the location was very quiet and seemed safe.
