The panorama of windows on the main floor and the master bedroom make it feel as though you are outside. There is also plenty of space on the wrap around deck to be outside and take it all in. This cabin is clean and has everything needed for a comfortable stay and has some unique features like a large copper bathtub, double shower head and barrel sink. It feels secluded but is only minutes away from Hill City and central to many of the main attractions. This is an amazing cabin! Very comfortable stay and amazing views. Be aware this property is accessed by a gravel road. We had an SUV, so not an issue. Google maps also gave incorrect directions, so be careful with GPS. The master suite is on the 3rd floor and all other bedrooms are on the first floor. Keep this in mind if you have smaller children. There are these flies that cover some of the windows on the outside and many that are all over the indoor windows or in all the lights at night. Then they start dying and you hear them fall, there are always dead flies on the floors. Behind the couches had 40+ dead flies when we checked in and it was just cleaned. I spent every evening trying to vacuum up the flies and hoping they didn’t fall on me or in my stuff. Also, the tub is unavailable for use and the note attached to it makes it look like it’s not been available for a long time.
