Our family had a wonderful stay at El Encuentro Surf Lodge. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the warmth and friendliness of the entire staff. Everyone went out of their way to make us feel welcome and ensure we had everything we needed throughout our stay.
The breakfast each morning was delicious, with fresh, high-quality options that gave us the perfect start to the day. One of the highlights of our trip was the surf school. The instructors were professional, patient, and fantastic with both adults and children, making the experience enjoyable and rewarding for everyone.
The location is simply stunning. Playa Encuentro is one of the most beautiful surf beaches we have visited, with consistent waves, a relaxed atmosphere, and breathtaking ocean views. Despite feeling like a peaceful tropical escape, the lodge is only about 20 minutes from Puerto Plata Airport, making travel incredibly easy and convenient.
We highly recommend El Encuentro Surf Lodge to families looking for a combination of relaxation, adventure, and genuine hospitality. We can't wait to return.
