Good option

Good option. Ask for one with a newer a/c unit. The older units leave a lot of moisture in the air

Pros: Direct access from outside which was convenient with dogs.
Cons: I know it was a dog room but the floors were very dirty.
Would go there again if we needed a dog room again. Wouldn't be our first choice though.

Decent place in High Level. Continental breakfast was a little sparse but wifi was consistent and all was good.

We have been staying at this location for years now. High Level is half way to Edmonton for those of us traveling from Yellowknife and this Hotal is a gem. Super clean, fireplace, friendly staff, a great price.

Very pleasant

Posted 25-Jan-2016
I stayed at the EconoLodge in High Level for the first time two nights ago, on my way up to the Northwest Territories. It was a really pleasant stay. The young lady at the front desk was very hospitable, smiling and willing to help. The room was spacious and clean (yes, I did find a hair in the bathtub, but this is not the Ritz, so I did not care), and had a nice gas fireplace. The continental breakfast they serve free of charge is also quite decent, and they have a pancake machine - the first I have seen so far. I will definitely stay there again in the future.

The pancake machine was hit and miss this spring when i was there and is still hit and miss. throw it in the trash and install a waffle machine.
