Understaffed. Unable to accommodate guests wanting breakfast (without a wait) despite plenty of tables set and ready. They said this was due to kitchen staffing. Very strange for a 5 star hotel. Pool very small and unable to get lounger.

Was here for the Cooper River Bridge run. This hotel's location is perfect in the heart of Charleston, near the finish line. The suite was amazing, this was the best room in Charleston. Staff was wonderful, valet service was awesome!

The pool and beach were beautiful. I do feel the rooms need a little face-lift, like repainting the doors and maybe up dating the bathrooms. Food was excellent! But the menu was small. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. I would definitely go back.
