Hicks-Stearns Family Museum

Great option for the casino and access for the highway. Helpful staff made it clear how to get to the resort. Breakfast was busy but the people looking after it kept it well stocked with a smile on their face. Bar was nice and food there was good. Overall a great option for a hub hotel for the surrounding area. Thank you.

I asked to be on the 5:30 AM shuttle/van from the hotel directly to BDL. The front desk knew this and included this information in my profile, I assume. I appeared in the lobby at 5:31 AM. While I acknowledge I was late by 60 seconds, the van left without me, left me stranded and I had to suffer the cost of an Uber to BDL or I would have missed my 6:45 AM flight. The excuse was that they had airline crew and couldn't wait 60 seconds for an airline passenger, a paying airline passenger! The front desk was staffed by a humorless, shy, young and grossly inept young lady who talked to you while staring at the floor or speaking incoherently at her computer monitor. NOONE had the courtesy to ring my room and alert me that the van was doing a dash act to the airport. I want my Uber money back! 30.00 bucks!
