Country Charm and Comfort-Near to Highways

The Country Bumpkin is in a rural setting, amongst other homes with small farms, and a southern way of life, yet very close to all you need in Hickory (Right off of HWY 321). Set in the country, it is connected to a triplex apartment building on a dead-end road. The apartment has been entirely refinished on the inside with all new kitchen, stainless steel appliances, updated bathroom and combines contemporary with shabby chic.
Located on HWY127, it is perfectly located to Downtown Hickory, Lenoir Rhyne University, Metro Convention Center as well as Frye and Catawba hospitals. Restaurants and shopping are all within a 5-minute drive. Perfect place to stay for local wedding events as well as just a quick getaway to visit with family.
A dirt drive with some gravel allows for large parking area right in front of the Local Yokel. Two small decks with 2-3 steps to enter into either the front or back door. There is a table that sits two or it folds out to easily sit four, with 4 wooden bar stools. Easy access to the home with August locks, allows the guest to have their own access code or to use their phone to gain access to the home.

I have absolutely no complaints on this one. Owners are very friendly and quick to respond to any need. Property is absolutely beautiful. Home is well stocked, clean and comfortable. Wildlife is plenty. Reach the city with ease but feel like you’re off in your own little world. Very well done and worth every penny

We absolutely loved this apartment, totally remodeled and wonderfully decorated. It sits at the end of a quiet dead end road (woods behind it) but super close to everything. It certainly felt like a "Country Bumpkin". :)

As we were approaching the apt, I was apprehensive about the neighborhood. Those thoughts were put to rest very quickly. The apartment was one of three that were connected. It was a very quiet neighborhood at the end of a cul-de-sac. It was very easy to get to and close to everything that we wanted to do. The inside was very clean and organized. The kitchen was furnished with everything that we needed. We only used one bedroom and the bed was very comfortable. There were tv’s in both bedrooms as well as in the living room. We felt very at home in the apartment. We would definitely be willing to stay here again.
