wasnt told it was multi-story with no elevators. rooms open to outside hotel, not interior of building. breakfast area could not accomadate number of guests. they ran out of forks and did not refill them during the half hour we were there for breakfast. hauling suitcases up steps is hard for us older folks

I have stayed at this property many times before and I will definitely stay again. There has never been any issues with the cleanliness of the room. However, this time the bathroom is very very dirty upon check-in, the issues was quickly resolved.

We liked the property set up. Breakfast was ok. The room was not very clean. Floor in bathroom was dirty and something was spilled on the wall by the door. The heater/air conditioning unit was so loud. It was fine for the price, though.

Staff was the greatest very clean and beds were comfortable, the tenants were the problem where a guy puked from up above almost hitting my wife and on my car. Worst western- statesville
Come back to the hotel around midnight. Unloading family and friends with young children, but had to come to a complete stop and shelter back into the car due to a domestic dispute. This was very unnerving and made me feel unsafe to leave the car with young kids. I called 911 and the call was disconnected when being transferred to state or county police(not sure what happened there). But I did go to the front desk after the car with the individuals sped away. Spoke with Brittney at the front desk, who was very nice and. Poor thing having to deal with this craziness… I has to speak to her behind a window in the corridor ( which just give me more reason so say this is not a family friendly/ safe feeling place to stay). Not a fan of this place and don’t recommend to others. But to each their own! Another thing to add… the bathroom was not clean to a high standard. Hair, bugs on the floor. I expect any hotel room to have been well cleaned before a new guest arrives. Bless to better in the future!

Disliked: Amenities
I guess I was expecting a "hotel" vs a "motel"...my mistake. However, when I checked in, I was asked if a 2nd floor room was OK and they had no elevator. I said no, as I have bad knees and had luggage. They said they had a "pet-friendly" room available. I said no, as I am very allergic. I said "No worries, I'll just find somewhere else. She then said they had a pet-free handicap room if that was alright. Since it was just one night, I accepted. I'll do better research next time.
