Boat Dock Kayaks Firepits, Lake and Mtn Views Welcome to Stonecrest Lodge, a gorgeous custom-built 5000 sq. ft. Log Home, ideally located near the Heart of Hiawassee, Georgia. The Blue Ridge Mountains hospitality will charm you. Our home is in very upscale neighborhood on the lake. This luxurious log home features 5 private bedrooms, 3 1/2 baths and a pool table on the terrace level. We offer a fully stocked kitchen, dining area and a wraparound deck with a gas grill for outdoor dining. We have a walkway (no stairs) down to the firepits, lake, and boat dock. Enjoy swimming, boating, kayaking, fishing, or just relaxing in the quiet cove. Guests are welcome to use our kayaks, paddle boards, and life jackets. Bring your own boat or rent a boat from one of the local marinas. We have a double boat slip double deck private boat dock. We have parking for up to 5 cars. 7 night minimum stay during peak season (Memorial Day through Labor Day) Saturday through Saturday Check-in and Check-out on Our main level is wheelchair accessible, with entry ramp wide doors master bedroom and bathroom are on the main level with accessible bed height grab bars and roll in shower. The house is as pictured and is very clean. The host is responsive and seems like a lovely person. My friends and I had a good time but there were things I would have liked to have known before booking. First, when we arrived, there was a framed message that stated the jacuzzi tub was not operational. Bummer since my husband was really looking forward to some nice baths. Wish this would have been communicated to us before we arrived since it seems the tub had been out of commission for a while. Second, the house is not as wheelchair friendly as I anticipated. Most doorways are fairly narrow, including into the master BR. The vanity in the master bath does not allow a wheelchair user to fit underneath it. The small water closet in the master bath is unusable but there is a half bath near the bedroom that I used instead. Also, the driveway and the path to the fire pit/lake is extremely steep and could be hazardous for a wheelchair user. Of course, if you’re not seeking wheelchair accommodations, then this critique won’t matter and this house should work fine for you. We were there late October and the leaves were changing and the weather was gorgeous. I would recommend this house for able-bodied people without small children. ##### Lorraine D. Not only was the home spotless, it was beautiful and welcoming. Our family from ages 10 though 78 thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The neighborhood was wonderfully quiet and the home is secluded far enough away from the main area of the lake that their was very little boat traffic when we were using the kayaks and paddle boards. Would recommend this home to any family looking to have a relaxing vacation. ##### Teresa W. The house was exactly as described. What was great was there was five of us and we had plenty room to spread out and not be on top of each other the entire time.The dock was perfect, we rented a boat for a few days and were able to keep it docked at the house. There are also paddle boards there you can use at no additional charge which was great! They also had life vests of all sizes available.View of the lake was amazing, master was awesome but the other bedrooms were very good as well.
