We stayed in an updated cabin that was well equipped with the basic necessities, including an in unit washer and dryer. Our stay includes a delicious breakfast buffet each morning. If possible I would give a sixth star for the friendly staff who went the extra mile to make our stay pleasant and memorable."

"Nestled in the hills surrounded by lush greenery, the Alver Hotel was our base for kayaking in the spectacular fjords. "The bed was huge, a little too big for the size of the room but the room was clean. The room was cute, kind of the old village style atmosphere. The view of the lake was beautiful and the complimentary breakfasts were "delightful"! Ginger shots, caviar, and fresh fruit smoothies daily. It's about 40 miles from the city which is a challenge for taxi service but the staff was extremely friendly. I enjoyed my stay."

"We came to attend a friend's wedding and we picked this place because it was 5 minutes from the church. It was clean and comfortable, with a beautiful rural view. The host accommodated us by providing a clothes iron when asked. The only negative was that there was no microwave. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again. "
