However, the property unfortunately isn't treated as it deserves to be. It lacks central heating and the two bathrooms date back to the 1960's. The kitchen is well equipped and matrasses are all new, the living room is very very basic. The garden isn't well kept either with bushes obstructing the sea view. Le jeudi, Madame Petit nous annonce que l'état des lieux est à 17h30 le vendredi. Pas une minute de plus. Nous habitons tous à 3h de route et travaillons. L'un d'entre nous doit poser un congé pour venir à l'heure exigée. Puis elle nous dit que le départ aura lieu à 11h le dimanche. Nous découvrons donc, la veille du séjour, que nous avons loué la maison pour une journée. Si nous avions eu toutes ces informations au moment de payer, nous nous serions tournés vers une autre maison. Mais nous avons joué le jeu de payer la totalité en avance, devenant les otages de la propriétaire. Puis nous apprenons que nous devons venir avec un chèque de caution d’un montant très élevé. Un autre couple s'est alors vu obligé de poser son après-midi afin d'être présent à 17h30 pour donner un chèque. Nous avons découvert après coup qu'Abritel bloquait déjà un montant important pour la caution : ce chèque n'a aucune raison d'être. En arrivant le vendredi, l'intermédiaire qui nous reçoit nous annonce : "Vous allez rire mais il n'y a pas de chauffage. Je vous plains. ". Nous avons deux nourrissons, ça ne nous fait pas rire. Elle nous affirme que c'est dans l'annonce (ce qui est faux) et que la maison n'est pas louée avant début mai d'habitude. Mais, dans ce cas, pourquoi ne pas nous prévenir au moment où nous payons pour un week-end mi-avril ? Par ailleurs, alors qu'il nous a été élégamment demandé d'apporter draps, serviettes et papier toilette (!), l'intermédiaire nous désigne un rouleau de sopalin et un rouleau de papier toilette en nous indiquant : "soit vous les consommez et vous les remplacez, soit vous n'y touchez pas". Comme c'est accueillant ! Lors de l'état des lieux de sortie, alors que nous attendons de repartir avec les nourrissons dans les bras, l'intermédiaire défait et refait chacun des 15 lits (!) sans nous expliquer pourquoi. Elle découvre une tâche sans aucune odeur, de l'eau, sur un des lits. Elle décide donc de garder notre chèque. Dès le lendemain, Madame Petit prélève la caution Abritel pour cette tâche d'eau - alors qu'elle a toujours notre chèque. A fuir à tout prix donc car au delà de la malhonnêteté, de la pingrerie généralisée et de l'absence de confort, il semblerait que Madame Petit se fasse de l'argent sur le dos de ses locataires. ##### Pia K.
