"My stay was ok. The staff was nice. The original room I reserved was having the carpet cleaned in the evening. Not sure why that wasn't finished before check-in times. The 2nd room had a broken/missing towel bar (didn't look further) so they moved me to another room. This one was fine. But the weed wacking and tractor mowing literally right outside my window at 8-830pm.was a bit much. Couldn't hear the TV at all. New TV provider needs.to send channel listings for the TV. None were available...

"Wonderful area, lots to do & see. Just off the Blue Ridge Parkway. So very quiet up there, large porch, lots of rocking chairs & a swing. They had a spacious interior(living room & separate dining room), library with puzzles & games. Good Coffee & tea Excellent food! Staff was personable but were careful to give you space. Can't wait to go back!"

"Our room smelled like a sewer. I believe it was coming from the drain in the shower. We also found a large spider and roach in the bathroom. The lady at the front counter was VERY rude when I went to check out this morning. She said she received several phone call complaints about our dogs barking and didn't have a phone number to call us. We stepped out for less than an hour for breakfast and I have an Expedia account that should have my phone number attached, not to mention they should have...
