Spread out in this spacious and well-appointed Custom Craftsman home. The location is great - It's in a quiet neighborhood, but only 5 minutes from great coffee in Flat Rock or great restaurants in Hendersonville. And 30 minutes to Asheville and the Biltmore. Great place to chill! Just to make it easy, there are just a few steps up to the front door. There is an open layout with a central family room, a fully equiped kitchen and a true dining room. There are 3 bedrooms - a large primary suite with 2 walk-in closets, a clawfoot tub and access to the deck. The other 2 bedrooms have large closets and a generous jack and jill bath attached. There is full hall bathroom (with shower) steps away from a well equipped workout room and a home theatre room upstairs with a big TV and sectional sofa (could be a spot for kids to sleep.) There is a laundry room with a washer and dryer in case you need it. I love the beautiful hardwood floors, custom kitchen cabinets, and the over-sized windows. It has an "at home luxury" feel. My favorite spot is the big back deck with a relaxing Adirondack chairs, a dining table, a barbecue and outdoor TV. The flat backyard is great for kids to play. You may see a family of deer, a black bear, or even a beaver in the backyard. We especially enjoyed the back patio setup and the lofted rec room. A short drive to the great little downtown area or a bit further to Asheville or the Blue Ridge Parkway. The house was exceptionally clean and well maintained in a very quiet neighborhood. It's clear the owners have been very intentional with maintaining their home and ensuring that guests have the best experience. The kitchen was fully stocked, including some food storage containers (which I don't think I've encountered in other rental homes) and a full complement of kitchen utensils. The home was a very short drive to Hendersonville and was generally well-situated for numerous hikes along the Blue Ridge Parkway. Bottom line, this was an excellent choice for an active vacation for a family with smaller children and we'd highly recommend for anyone looking for an exceptionally well-maintained home close to Asheville. We enjoyed it tremendously. Having breakfast and coffee on the very large deck was very enjoyable and serene as we viewed the landscaped yard. The bedrooms were spacious and baths were fully functional and highly adequate. The living room was very comfortable. The kitchen had everything one would need to make any meal and eat on stylish dinnerware on the gorgeous dining room table. I cooked on the easy accessible brand new barbeque. There is a hot tub (empty because summer I am thinking) and an exercise room too. Only comment I have for owner is allow a light to shine on bbq for late grilling. I blew the master bedroom breaker when I plugged in a device. The breaker panel was easy to find. It is well labeled and I reset the 15 amp switch easily. The beds were very comfortable, and the sheets were like butter! The view from the deck was beautiful and we even saw a mother deer and her baby.
