Welcome to the Bearcat Bungalow, centrally located in the heart of downtown Hendersonville. Walk to shops and restaurants. Enjoy the cozy city setting; this home offers a spacious layout with 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, and sleeper sofa. Sleeps 6. The primary offers a comfy king-size bed with a w/luxury memory foam mattress, smart TV, and designated work space. The hall bedroom offers a full bed w/ luxury memory foam mattress, smart TV, spacious bath with shower tub combo, and well-equipped kitchen.

Enjoy a peaceful weekend in this newly remodeled historic home, 92 years young! This home has everything you would need for a convenient/comfortable stay. The Bearcat Bungalow offers private off-street parking and a covered front porch with a spacious and cozy- downtown vibe. The Livingroom is equipped with a 45-inch TV and full-size sleeper sofa; There is a high-top dining table for 4, Keurig coffee included, a high-end gas stove and Refrigerator, Blender, Baking Sheets, Pots& Pans, and Diningware. Basic Salt & Pepper provided. The large Primary Bedroom has a luxurious King Bed with a mattress top, TV, and Desk for work if you must. Wifi is provided. The Guest Bedroom offers a comfy full-size bed with a TV. The bathroom is a Tub/ Shower Combo; We provide small amenities, Soap, Shampoo, and Toothpaste.

As if this space isn't already amazing! The location makes this one a Gem! You can take a short 5-minute walk to Downtown. Our town has a beautiful downtown district full of shops, restaurants, and other unique businesses. The town hosts many events. The Garden Jubliee is held every Memorial Day Weekend, The Apple Festival every Labor Day Weekend, and many Art, Antique, and Car Shows. During the warmer months, they host Rhythm & Brews offering live music and dance. There is so much to see and do here, and we enjoy sharing our home and town with you!

Weekend getaway with hubby

We had a great time and we were blown away by the charcuterie board Emily prepared for us. Everything we needed was provided! The house is located near all of our favorite places we like to visit. Terrific Bungalow & Location

Just a few blocks to downtown, this cute little house has all the amenities you could ever need. Larger than we needed for just us (a couple & our dog) it’s 2 BR plus foldout couch. Fully stocked kitchen with coffee, appliances, dishes, all linens, etc. Nice front porch for morning coffee, a nap or evening cocktail. Highly recommend this atay!

This was an easy and convenient rental. Everything was just as described. The location was perfect for walking downtown. The owner was extremely helpful and easy to contact. The property itself was interesting because it was a 100-year-old house that had been remodeled and they did a wonderful job! The property was very clean and even had Christmas decorations!

Cute Bungalow

Loved the Bearcat Bungalow! We were able to walk to restaurants and shops in the downtown area. The bungalow was nicely decorated with everything you need. The huge covered porch was a daily hangout in the morning and evenings. I would recommend this great rental. We enjoyed live music, good food and shopping during our stay. Will be back!!

Amazing location with FAB hosts

We love, love, love this cottage! Easy walk to downtown for shops and restaurants. Or dine in with the extremely well-equipped kitchen. Fast internet with so many thoughtful touches like k-cups for the coffee, plenty of dishes, etc. all the conveniences of home except for laundry. Absolutely the most comfortable beds we’ve encountered yet!

We had a wonderful stay!! Perfect size for a couple and also has second bedroom for children. Location was also wonderful. Convenient to restaurants and shops in Hendersonville. Wonderful Bungalow

My husband and I spent four nights in the lovely Bearcat Bungalow. The home was exactly as pictured and described. Emily was easy to communicate with and readily available to offer assistance. We enjoyed exploring the downtown area and dining in many of the restaurants, all within an easy 15 minutes walk. Parking was easy, and venturing to local wineries and taking a tour of The Carl Sandburg Home were very accessible. We would definitely recommend a stay in this well appointed bungalow.

Best VRBO Experience!!

From booking to checkout, I could not have asked for a better experience!! Emily found out I was bringing my friend for her 50th birthday and offered to decorate the cottage for me so I could surprise her. The communication was extremely good, the place had everything we could possibly need, it was immaculate, the beds were comfortable, it’s walking distance from Main Street and all the shops and restaurants….my best friend was absolutely thrilled and I could not have done it without Emily! There’s honestly no reason to book anywhere else than here when in Hendersonville!

Wonderful Surprise

With the unit being 100 years old we were crossing our fingers. We were trilled to find that the bungalow was exceptionally clean. The fans in the bedroom were much appreciated and keep the bedroom to the coolest of desired temperature! Huge plus. Loved the location and easy to walk and enjoy the downtown and some good restaurants. Look forward to a return in the future.

Beautiful bungalow and great location

This property is amazing. Beautifully decorated. Very modern clean touches through tout. Comfortable king size bed, lots of closet space, and a big space. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you needed to prepare meals but too many good restaurants nearby. We loved being able to walk to downtown. The front porch was comfortably furnished and was fun to watch the comings and goings at the High School across the street. Never heard any noise from there. We appreciate the opportunity to stay here and also the bottle of wine Emily left us. A perfect place to explore the Asheville and surrounding towns. Thank you.

Quiet Comfort

For being across the street from a high school, we found the Bungalow to be very quiet in the mornings as we did not hear the school traffic at all (we weren't there for school release). Easy access, felt safe. The bed was very comfortable in a cozy room. Electronic access is available everywhere with plenty of outlets, and WiFI is also available, but we did not use it. The weather was not very cooperative, but it was mid-December. Fully stocked kitchen if you were to cook, nice appliances. A definite return consideration.

Quiet, comfy home just a quick walk to downtown

We had never stayed in Hendersonville before, and we cannot wait to go back! The cottage location is perfect - such an easy walk to restaurants, bookstore and other shops downtown, which is very clean, pretty, and family-friendly. We loved the artsy bears on every corner and the gorgeous flowers everywhere. There is much to do nearby, too - we enjoyed hiking in Dupont State Forest, meandering through Bullington Gardens (botanical), watching a play at Flat Rock Playhouse, and experiencing the Thursday Rhythm & Blues concert series downtown. But the cottage was the best part of our trip. It was as comfortable as being at home and is just such a cool, old home. Every room is amazingly roomy, including the front porch. It's possible we spent more time outside on the porch than inside. We only used one bedroom, and its bed was extremely comfortable. The bathroom and kitchen were fully stocked with everything we needed and more. The owners truly thought of everything! The bottle of wine was a sweet touch. Parking couldn't be more convenient, and the neighborhood felt very hometown-ish. Bearcat Bungalow is truly one of the best properties we ever visited.
