"Although the place and property is very good but on Expedia page it's location is mentioned as Lansdowne but the fact is that this place is at least 3 hrs. away from Lansdowne which is very deceiving and unprofessional on the part of Expedia and on the top of that the booking is non-refundable. not only me, all the families who reached their had done the booking by mistake just like me. I would request concerned people to see to it and do the needful as soon as possible otherwise it would be...

ROSEATE Worth a Try!

"Very nice property at the Ganges, around 200 steps down but a steep climb. Food was exceptional and service as good. Very nice breakfast and great service standards! The rooms are not designed properly, even a hair dryer doesn't have a socket in the washroom or next to any mirror. Very stringent on their rules which may rightly suit them but can be quite hard on the guests. Adjacent to road hence even at night the cars sound etc is very loud in the rooms. Very nice bar and good cocktails offered. Expensive overall. Cant directly easily spot the ganges from the rooms / property however a little walk down and voila you are inside the river! We did an aarti at the ganges with all friends and was very scenic! Some of us did a yoga session at the poolside and was quite serene. Location is away from main city rishikesh hence away from the hustle and bustle. Taj Anand Kashi just 5 - 10 mins drive away."

Different Room provided but it was much better

"We booked family grand room. However, we were given a room that was completely different from the photos of the room that is in description. While the room could fit 3 adults and was as big, the decor of the room resembled the rooms with earthly decor. This was initially disappointing. The room as per photos were all booked out. The management went above and beyond in service to make up for this change and after 3 nights we were given the room that is shown in photos. Having compared both rooms, we found the original room (earthly decor) was more practical with small kids as this room was completely flat and did not have any stairs. the rooms that are shown in photos has stairs. Also the original room (with earthly decor) had TV facing the bed which kids and us much referred. I would highly advise that whoever gets this earthly decor room as family grand room and while this may not be what you expected, this room may be better for what you need as a family. "

" DO NOT GO TO THIS PEACE ZERO STAR Checked out at Atali Ganga. Place is beautiful but DONT TRUST the staff. THIEVES IN THE PROPERTY Our experience is Horrible!! While we went to get message in the hotel and did not lock the door to our room, someone from staff stole our wallet with credit card and money with personal Id card. Very disappointed Tanya is manager in duty. She is very nice got cctv and security to check room but did not find wallet so conclusion is staff stole it. She said to do fir file with police Very bad experience. NO RESPONSIBILITY TAKEN Sorry went to this place . Will have go many headaches to do stop payments while traveling in rest of India trip. Would have to do for process with police"
