"Clean room, friendly staff, great breakfast"

"First off we were supposed to have a king size bed and somehow got a full/queen. The room was dirty, and the floors were sticky. There was literally a hole punched in the bathroom door. Not cool. I would not recommend this place to anyone, among of my worst experiences. Do not stay here"

"We enjoyed our stay here. The rooms were not the greatest we have ever seen. Which is not to say they were not good. The most enjoyable part of the room was the very nice, large shower, how dark the room was at night, and how exceptionally quiet it was. A concern we usually have with hotels is the noise from the hallways, adjacent rooms, or the environment outside. This room (3rd floor) satisfied all of those concerns. Plus, the hotel is not directly in the heart of downtown Clayton, which was a plus for us. Still, everything we wished to see was a brief walk away."

"If easy parking, a quiet neighborhood, overall cleanliness, clean shelves and drawers, comfortable furniture, and comfortable beds appeals to you then this is your place to stay. I cannot say enough nice things about this property. Miles takes his role as host very serious. The kitchen had enough dishes for our needs. Plenty of coffee, tea etc. Some pantry items were available too. Each of the bedrooms have 2 nightstands. Closets had plenty of hangars. We used the laundry facilities in the basement and they were also very clean. We ran both the furnace and AC (typical MO weather in April) during our stay. The HVAC system was also very clean. The motion detector lights in the driveway and porch were much appreciated too. Thanks for a great stay. "
