"We recently stayed at a hotel near Amtrak’s Union Station in Los Angeles, and the experience was a mix of great location and noticeable wear. The room itself was surprisingly large, offering plenty of space to spread out and relax. However, the property as a whole is clearly in need of refurbishment. The carpets were stained, and several areas felt dated and overdue for maintenance. What truly worked in this hotel’s favor was the location. Being within easy walking distance of Union Station made arriving and departing incredibly convenient. We also loved how close it was to Chinatown, Little Tokyo, and historic Olvera Street—perfect for exploring some of LA’s most interesting neighborhoods without needing a car. Overall, the hotel delivered on space and convenience, but travelers should be aware that the property shows its age and could benefit from a thorough refresh. If proximity to transit and cultural districts is your priority, it’s a practical choice; if you’re looking for a more polished environment, you may want to consider other options."

"Staff IS AMAZING! I enjoyed my stay at Omni from Check In to Check Out. I was pleasantly surprised to find they have a Black SUV car service to accommodate within 3 miles free of charge! The Waite staff is phenomenal as well. I never had to open my door to enter or exit. Do yourself a favor and opt in for the Lounge experience which includes daily Hot Breakfast and Happy Hour :) The Restaurant is pleasant enough but definitely needs updating and ambience i.e. Soft Music, Pleasant Staff, Upgraded Meals and Top Tier Bar Tenders... Maybe invest in true Mixologist or Supreme Bar Tenders that take pride in their work. Restaurant food and cocktails were subpar... We would have dined their more often if the restaurant service, staff, food and cocktails were better... But overall my total experience at Omni was FANTASTIC!!!"
