"This absolutely stunning home was perfectly nestled in between mountains and ocean. The home has all the comforts needed to feel at home. "A lovely simple comfortable cottage with stunning views of the volcano and glacier, and views out to the sea. Bring binoculars we saw dolphins from the house. The cottage is warm and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The stairs are very steep so be aware of this for small children and older visitors. We had a fantastic time lots of walks close by a lovely bay a short walk away . It is quite an isolated location so bring food drink and entertainment if required. Be prepared to spend...

"This lovely place in Hellnar was a wonderful restful place to make our home base during a few days on the Snaefellsnes Peninsula. The cottage is lovely and clean and well-equipped. It was easy to explore the national park and there is a lovely hiking trail to the next town Arnarstappi. We cooked at home a few nights and had an amazing dinner at the local hotel (just a short walk down the road). Definitely would stay here again!"

"The stay we had was just what the doctor ordered. This was not a leisure trip, but my mom lives in Olafsvik, and not well. So we drove there daily during our stay. The cottage is very clean, and well equipped. Location was amazing!!"
