This property has interesting local history to it and features lots of books to explore. It is nothing fancy but has most things you need in a kitchen, comfortable beds and a laundry machine. The property is missing a few items that would improve the stay: a pair of scissors, paper towels and sharp knives. There are areas that need some maintenance like the shower caulking, the bathroom faucet, the front door knob and the sofa.

I am not sure how this was categorized as 3 star in Expedia. It is a small house with none of the amenities in working condition. Twin beds meant bunk beds!

We do apologize for the inconvenicence as we had no idea our apartments were listed as 3-star hotels... They are not. They are simple family homes in old-school icelandic style with self check in and easy check out. We have contected Expedia and asked them to change this for us.

Abgewohnt und in schlechtem Zustand
Das Apartment ist in einem stark renovierungsbedürftigen Zustand und es mangelt an sauberkeit. Es fanden sich Kleidungsstücke von Vornutzern im Schlafraum. Die Türe zum WC/Bad ließ sich nicht - oder bestenfalls mit roher Gewalt - schließen. Das Bad selbst war von minimaler Größe und niedrigstem Standard. Die Kücheneinrichtung sowie die Küchenutensilien waren weder von der Sauberkeit noch von ihrem Erhaltungszustand überzeugend. Der Preis für das Apartment war einfach überzogen.
