Kabini is actually a river (in the form of a snake) that is rich with flora & fauna!! Includes majestic Tigers, leopard, rarest black panther(yes black), elephants and varieties of other birds & animals. A wild place, silent and it is an absolute Nature, at its best. I took a 3 day safari in the forest around Kabini where I came across this bone chilling moment!! The moment that I waited for years.. And finally when it happened.. my numb fingers somehow did its job, clicking!!! The silence of the forest echoed the sound of the clicks.. Her every step towards me skipped one beat.. It jus lasted for seconds.. At best. After a long travel day, we tried to order dinner at 6:30 & they would not let us order until after 7pm. Service was very slow. Tables not cleaned properly after the afternoon tea, which the front desk told us about & that we should go enjoy while waiting for our keys, but when we got there tea was all gone and never got refilled. Just lots of dirty tables. We went up to the pool as it lists a restaurant up there (again at 6:30pm). Saw a few dishes on a counter, but no restaurant, asked an employee who just looked confused and went into a back room and didn’t come back out with an answer. Had a balcony which at first looked nice but then realized the garden it was even with was under construction, so not that nice after all. We did sit out there for a bit and eaten alive by mosquitoes. We were happy we were only booked there for one night.
