There are walking trails right across the street, or a short walk to the Embleton Mt trailhead. The house has a kitchen with BBQ, toaster, coffee maker, dishes, and utensils, and a comfortable living room with a great view of the lake. There is a bedroom with queen bed upstairs. Downstairs you will find 2 bedrooms, one with double bed, and "kids" room with a twin over double bunk bed, and a games room with sofa bed. If you can't quite get away from it all we have a full entertainment center, high speed WIFI and basic cable channels. There are also plenty of books, games, puzzles to enjoy. This space is ideal for up to 4-5 adults plus kids. Well what can I say...this was quite simply the finest family vacation we have ever been on! We are more in love with Heffley now than we were before because of Dean & Megan accommodating us. There never seems to be enough time to enjoy all that Heffley has to offer but we sure did jam in everything we possibly could. We spent a majority of our time on the dock...the kids and I must have done 500 laps tubing in the middle of the lake and we also had great success fishing at the other end of the lake.
