The room was clean and comfortable bed. Breakfast was poor for an AmericInn. Fast choices, some seemed past date of being fresh. Basically a place to sleep. Not family friendly in my opinion.

Breakfast was good-they had a mini waffle maker! I have never seen one of those in a hotel before! We made waffles everyday!
The pool was nice-small but that was good for us.
The staff were awesome-very helpful and friendly and patient with my grandma!

I wish I had caught her name, but the lady that checked us in was amazing. Friendly, personable, helpful, and prompt. Breakfast was decent, typical continental options but also some healthy toppings for oatmeal offered.
My only feedback is that the indoor pool was freezing. Not sure if the heater was out, or if they just don’t have one, but was definitely too cold for our kids.

Checked in at after 10:00 PM. We had to ask for hand soap for the bathroom & an ice bucket because they were not in the room. The bed had no top sheet. The breakfast was all picked over before 8 AM. No fruit or yogurt available. No healthy options.

Cobblestone Ottumwa was welcoming, friendly and comfortable. I’m accustomed to a firmer bed but the hot water was plentiful and the room was quiet and cozy without the air conditioning! I planned to use the pool but didn’t make time to swim. Hopefully next time!
