First night was extremely cold inside. The ceiling mounted heater was unable to keep the small living space heated. Fortunately we had brought along a heavy down comforter. Next morning woke to frozen pipes and no water. Owners were notified and quickly responded. Took two visits to repair heater in the garage below the living space. We did get water running that evening. Without garage heat, the appartments heater is insufficient. All was good for five days, then we had a repeat event, the garage heater again malfunctioned with the same result, no water. Owners were notified and promptly responded. After the first outage the owners asked us to let the water run in the sink. After 2 days with no problems we turned off the water believing the problem was solved.
