"Incredible and wonderful stay at this property. Ten out of five stars!!! Dave was easy to reach and promptly replied to all inquiries. The house was amazing, both in location and condition. Mountain views were breathtaking. The house was well laid-out and spacious. All of the bedrooms and living spaces were homey and cozy. Kitchen was very well equipped with all the necessities and then some. There is a grocery store (Three Bears Alaska) less than five minutes away. And a wonderful little coffee shop (The Alaskan Coffee Bean) even closer. Our family of six had a perfect mini-vacation to Healy with a visit to explore a little bit of Denali and some time in Fairbanks to see the Aurora. According to the locals, not too much to do during the non-summer months, but if you are looking to relax and NOT deal with the crowds, this is the place to go! Kids had a great time playing in the snow in the back yard (more than they had seen in a long time!) and we were more than content to sit in the living room and admire the snowy mountains. Overall, could not have asked for more. Thank you Dave and family! "

"Lovely quiet spot. We went in late March so fewer things to do in the area but that isn’t related to the hotel. Roses cafe next door is great. Room was very clean, comfortable and spacious. Highly recommend. "

"What a welcome retreat! The weather was cold! -35F! But the house was cozy and bright. The hot tub was fun. We skied and walked o the lake. The view was fantastic!"

"First, this was a last minute reservations during the peak season. It is primarily an RV Park (a large one) and I had a room. The noise from the RVs were limited primarily in the mornings. Second, it is very close to Denali, so I was pretty much gone during the days and too exhauted when I crashed. Third, the room was definitely slanted (floor). It was adequate for what I needed...shower and bed since I just spent 21 days in the back country. Noise in the common area consisted of several uses of the microwave usage...do not expect to sleep in here (RVs leaving early in the mornings)."

"My wife and I came here for our Honeymoon. The listing was exactly as described- a secluded cabin with the essentials for survival. It was always warm, and the cell service, while middling, was perfectly adequate. It was clean, with no critters, and the twin beds were comfortable. I’m 6’3 and my wife 5’10, so our feet did stick off the edges a little and bump the roof in places, but with some maneuvering you can make it work. The only cooking implement was a microwave, so we purchased a hot plate in Anchorage along with a mixing bowl and cooking pot, and left them there at the cabin (they may remain for future guests, I would ask).The road was difficult to find, but the host gave a very good description on how to find it. AWD or 4WD vehicle required for a steep (45 degree plus) road. We went in Late September, so the only snow we experienced was on our checkout day. That drive/slide down the mountain was not one I’m eager to repeat, so make sure you check the weather and plan your parking accordingly. As described, there is no plumbing, but the outhouse was clean and had plenty of toilet paper and hand sanitizer.Its location is gorgeous, beautiful views on a clear day. 20-30 minutes north of Denali National Park. Showers and laundry are available in Healy, 5-10 minutes South. We had a wonderful time.P.S. The twin beds in the loft are in an L shape and cannot be moved together. "

"Cabin was spotless. Furniture and bedding was comfortable. Shower and kitchen were user friendly. Convenient to main hey but a bit noisy at times, due to this. Overall, I would stay here again and would recommend to others. "
