The extensive, mature garden and elegantly landscaped grounds offer the perfect combination of comfort, relaxation and outdoor dining. The gorgeous, brand new indoor spaces combine a tranquil aesthetic with stylish modernity. The owners of this magnificent three acre estate just outside Healdsburg have recently completed a total renovation of their beautiful home – a renovation marked by their unwavering insistence upon quality, elegance and style. The photographs speak for themselves… The estate sits on the top of a rise and benefits from exceptional panoramic views of the vine-laden Russian River, Alexander and Dry Creek Valleys and of Mount St. Helena. In addition to the main three bedroom house, there is a guest cottage which offers a fourth bedroom, a pool house with a covered pergola and a detached garage. The external amenities include a heated pool, a hot tub, a covered dining area with a gas fueled grill, Mugnaini pizza oven and a fire pit, perfect for those cool Wine Country evenings. There are numerous, comfortable exterior seating areas from which to contemplate the mature beauty of the estate’s grounds, with its extraordinary cork oak, its palms, its redwoods, its fruit orchard and many stunning plants and flowers. The main house features on its first floor a comfortable living room with access on to an east facing deck, a media room, a dining room and a large modern newly equipped kitchen with breakfast area. Upstairs, a gallery and a study space accompany three bedrooms. The master has a walk-in closet and a stunning bathroom with a soaking tub, separate walk-in shower and access on to a private deck. A second full bathroom is available for guests adjacent to the other two bedrooms. A third, full bathroom is located in the pool house, for the use of the occupants of the guest cottage. Equipped with wireless internet throughout, the home has plenty of room to work in the study or lounge outside with your laptop. We are minutes away from downtown Healdsburg and many of the most well-known wineries in Sonoma County and an easy drive from the Greater San Francisco Bay Area and Santa Rosa airport. The owners are investors in a successful London restaurant and in Healdsburg’s outstanding wine bar, Maison. Our team will be happy to assist with advice on local restaurants and wineries to visit, and with bookings. Bottles from their remarkable wine collection can, by prior arrangement, be made available through Maison. PLEASE NOTE... As per new Sonoma County regulations effective June 2023, we are prohibited from having any kind of outdoor burning or fireworks. A perfect home for a family vacation. The yard is beautifully landscaped, and the property has all the amenities of a resort. The grandchildren enjoyed early morning swims in the heated pool, the adults relaxed with the hot tub, Ping-Pong, pinball, and other amusements, and the whole family took advantage of outdoor dining, the fire pit, and the pizza oven! It was hard to keep us on track of our winery itinerary, it’s hard to leave the pool and hot tub. Luckily there are dozens of wineries within 10-15 minutes. The pizza oven is fun and we only completely ruined 2 before we got the hang of it. Adult kids and spouses stayed with us. The house was clean, well appointed, and on par for a nice VRBO stay. What really distinguishes the property is the grounds. Wonderful set-up with pool, hot tub, fire pit etc. Lots of space for people to relax and enjoy being outside (we had pretty perfect weather). Healdsburg and wineries were easy to get to. It was just as we remembered and better because we could enjoy the warmer outdoor weather with the pool this time. The home is very comfortable and well stocked. There was plenty of space for our little group to spread out when we wanted. Our favorite features are the outdoor cooking facilities - gas BBQ is terrific and so powerful. We enjoyed steak and grilled veggies one night and grilled oysters and fresh fish another night. The wood fired pizza oven is a highlight of our weekend and we specifically planned a meal around it this time, with everyone topping their own individual pizzas! There are some aspects that have become very worn (like the kitchen sink faucets), but handled gently, everything worked well and was clean. We do understand that a remodel is planned in future and hope that nightly pricing doesn't increase too much from that! A note on the bedding, I can't speak as well for the other 2 bedrooms, but the master bedroom bed mattress is heavenly and our friends report that the other two beds were very comfortable. ##### Cecily S.
