It took hours before you could stay inside because air was off. No breakfast and coffee. Main lobby was locked all the time.

There was good water pressure and hot water was nice. The pool was closed the entire weekend. If you just need a place to sleep and on a budget it is good for that but not for a family that may want to enjoy lounging by the pool on vacation

The swimming pool was not in use for our stay. Our room had food in the feidge the ac was not on and smelled so bad. The blankets.must have been 20 years old. The beds were uncomfortable and the hair dryer was ripped.out of the wall. I had a smoking room which was stuck in the 80s while bothe other rooms in my party were non smoking. That maybe the difference but its not appropriate. Also we had no table like all the other rooms did and there was dust and sand everywhere in the room. Burn holes in all bedding and the sink tub and toilet all had burn marks.

The room was in need of a remodel. There were places on wall that had been patched up but not painted. The bed was horrible. It dipped down in center and you could feel the springs on this old mattress. The juice machine was gross. There was nasty stuff coming out and settled to bottom of my cup and I didn't know it until I had drank almost all of the juice.

Property is in a good location, but it does abut an RV park. Room was clean for the most part, but the toilet had black grime on the backside and under the rim that was visible. Beds were super firm and pillows were flat. I paid extra for a room with a jetted tub. The drain stopper was missing. I informed the owner and was told his housekeeper would be down in about one hour to "see about it." That individual never came. When I inquired about the missing stopper in the morning, he apologized for not getting back with me. Overall, it's a good place to lay your head down, but don't expect much more than the basics.

Americas Best Value Inn -- BEST Value anywhere
I travel by automobile for a living as a manufacturer's rep & stay in all kinds of hotels / motels throughout the Southeast, & this is one of the very few that I always return to & actually look forward to staying at. This is a great place to stay when in the area, & I always do so if I am within a 35 mile radius & need a room for the night. Super clean & comfortable; newly renovated. The owner is very friendly, courteous, & helpful...such a pleasure to deal with! It's obvious he takes great pride in his property as well as the service & experience he provides his guests. I will never stay anywhere else when I am in the area. Great service & value...much, much more than one would expect for the price! Cannot recommend highly enough!!

Checked in went to room remote back was off had to hold batteries in to turn channel Bathroom toilet seat had a pubic hair on the seat and the shower was only half effort clean . The murrors was not clean...The couch had debris under the seat and outside old shes and socks were lying by the door when checked on and when i checked out. Been coming to this place for years when i travel to see my parents. POOR SERVICE.

Nice People, but not so nice Rooms
The check-in process was easy, the clerk was very friendly. There was plenty of parking in front of the room, but there was broken glass everywhere. The room was clean but very outdated. There were bare wires that sparked in the bathroom light fixture, The comp soaps and shampoo smelled awful, but I don't expect much for free, it was just that I forgot to pack body wash, and that's all there was. The light switch by the door was flickering like there was a bad connection, and the shower head was caked with Lime and rust deposits.

We had a family of 5 stay there, we were pleasantly surprised to find a microwave and mini fridge. The only complaint was the bathroom door had a hard time staying closed. The Lady that worked breakfast this weekend was beyond sweet to my boys.

Small town with limited hotel choices, but I would always stay at this hotel when in town even if there were more options. Very clean & recently remodeled; not fancy but very comfortable; owner is very friendly & service is 1st class. Wonderful value!

The first room we were placed in the toilet was broken, the water started to rise from under the toilet from the seal. The front desk man was rude and hesitant about moving us when I was insistent he then moved us to a subpar room. The AC in this room only worked intermittently. The room smelled as if someone had just smoked cigars even though it was a nonsmoking room. For the price and the length of stay, it should have had better care and courteousness. The people in the room next to us grilled out the 2nd night we were staying there. This is a hotel, not a campground.

The room toilet was not broken the water was not coming out from under seal while checking upon guest moved to other room. The front desk clerk told the guest to change over to near room from 115 to 112. The guest had her issues with the other guest in room 109 they where outside on parking lot talking guest want the other side room. Upon that front desk clerk inform the guest due to weekend its always busy so you check the room before you shift to new room. desk clerk took the guest to room no 206/ 207 which guest check all things in the room ( eg toilet / sink/ bed / AC.). in both the room then guest decided to stay in room 206. The guest grilled out in other side of parking lot and not in room corridor. The front desk clerk was not rude but inform the guest that you satisfy your self on checking the room or he can show you the room but guest was OK with room 206. The desk clerk only inform guest that due to weekend we busy then its not possible to change over.
