It has plenty of parking for trailers. This 1800 sq. ft. historic log cabin was once an out building for lumberjacks, a Post Office, a General Store, a Tavern and a restaurant. Now it boasts 3 bedrooms, one with a king sized bed and two with queen sized beds, a granite and fieldstone fireplace with a wood burning insert. It is on the Sawyer County ATV and Snowmobile trail and it is located on Ghost Creek for kayaking or canoeing. The creek leads to the West Fork of the Chippewa River. If you enjoy cross country skiing, it is located 4 miles from the Mukwonago ski trail. The town of Hayward is 23 miles west of the house. There are many hiking trails, golf courses, ATV trails and cross country ski trails located nearby. I will say from the pictures we expected the inside to be smaller, this place is BIG on the inside. You cant always tell from the pictures but its big and spacious. Loved the living area with the fireplace, behind that is another sitting area thats really nice. Patio is great. Rooms were all very nice. There is one room close to the road thats noisier when large trucks go by but the other rooms are on the otherside and very quiet. It was exactly what we are looking for and we've already recommended to friends and family. It had a ton of room with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms and a nice garage which provided good storage for our motorcycles. I liked the area of the house as well with one exception.. None of us could figure out how to make a phone call. Wi-Fi was provided so we had internet connection but it was tough to text or call anyone. The owners have done an amazing job of updating it while keeping its rustic charm. The beautiful hardwood floors, fireplace, modern kitchen, the stone tiled master shower…so many wonderful amenities. The house is spotless and the kitchen has everything you could need. I highly recommend staying there. You won’t want to leave the house. ##### Carol P. There is limited cell service but dish network TV and WiFi were available. The country decor added to the vacation attitude and cozy feeling.
