Took a 2 day trip to celebrate an anniversary. Could have picked a better weekend as far as being able to enjoy outdoor activities. Temps never reached positive numbers during our stay. Even with that the cabin was very comfortable and cozy.
This cabin get away was just perfect. We loved the privacy of the property. Every day waking up to the beauty of the lake. The cabin provided us with all the amenities. So close to many restaurants and activities. I would highly recommend it.
We had a perfect weekend staying at the cabin. Collin was really helpful. Checking in was a breeze and the cabin is well equipped with everything you could want. The cabin is located at the end of a pennisula, which makes it very private and the perfect place for some time in the North Woods!
We had a fantastic stay this past weekend. The views from the cabin were amazing and the cabin itself was extremely clean and cozy. Collin was very responsive, especially when our dog got a fish hook stuck in his leg and we needed help finding somewhere to take him. Collin also had great recommendations for places to go and things to see. We hope to be back!
We had a great time at this property. It was quiet, clean, and thankfully, dog friendly! We had a minor issue towards the end of our stay, and I can’t say enough how much we appreciated the lightning fast response from our host to get everything resolved. Loved the location as well, tucked away with plenty of wildlife to share our vacation with. Such a great experience, thanks!
Great little cabin on a clear lake in the middle of paradise. I loved sitting on porch watching all the pollinators, hummingbirds working over the gorgeous wildflowers. We spent our days paddling several stretches of the beautiful Namekagon River.
We have stayed here once previously and really enjoyed the last time and this time. My daughter lives about 7 miles down Highway B. It is very convenient to drive to her house to visit her. We loved the clean cabin and its cozy atmosphere. Our host Colin contacted us through the VRBO website to make sure we had everything we needed. We also took our little dog Brody along as well. The only thing I wish I would of done was book my trip a few days longer. This is such a beautiful area. And the location of the cabin is perfect as it sits on a peninsula. It is always hard to leave up North. We just love that Colin and his family are kind enough to share their place with others. Thank you!
It is a tranquil and private location on the lake with a wonderful view from the porch and the dock. We loved sitting on the dock as the sun set. The house is clean and seems newly redone. The rustiness of the water is unpleasant.
Secluded and quiet right on the lake! Beautiful property and in the Fall at peak colors it's truly spectacular! Day trip to Potato Falls and Copper Falls is totally worth it. Spent evenings and night at the fire pit and enjoying the magnificent starry nights. Be sure to take the short drive to The Dock Bar and Grill for some amazing pizza & wings. Great people and really made us feel welcomed on our Birthday vacation!
Collin was great. We had an issue getting in so we messaged Collin and went to grab a bite to eat. He solved the issue right away for us. Worked great the rest of our stay.
The cabin/house was updated. Bed was good and we slept well. We broguth drinking water with us because Collin said the minerals are high in the water there. The only thing Collin couldn't help with was the rain!
My husband and I needed a getaway to visit our daughter who lives in Hayward. It was an absolutely delightful cabin. It is located on a peninsula on the end of a road. There is another house visible to the cabin, but not close enough that we didn't have our privacy. Osprey lake is a quiet small lake. That being said Loons are abundant on this lake. The loon calls made this cabin extra extraordinary. Loons are usually pretty elusive, but we saw them every single day. The host Collin thought of every little detail to make his guests comfortable during their stay. Thumbs up on this property. It did not disappoint.
Everything was wonderful except for the water quality. Property manager let us know about 1 week before arrival that we should bring our own drinking water. We had to use our own water for cooking, brushing teeth, everything except toilet and shower. Owner needs to invest in RO or water softener system. Otherwise property was amazing, great for dogs, kids and adults. Nice and secluded, had a great time!
A cute little cabin on a wooded lot. Nice firepit for evening relaxation. The bedrooms were of decent size. The one bedroom did not have a very comfortable mattress. They provided ample supplies ie toliet paper, paper towels, etc. They could use another frying pan.
The lake is decent size and had plenty of fish for my grandson and myself. The lake water was very clean. There were a few weeds along shoreline.
The well water did have a strong iron odor to it. The owner did advise a week prior to check-in. We brought lots of store bought gallons of water.
It would be nice to have a picnic table. They had a very comfortable hammock near the shoreline which eveyone enjoyed.
The weather was beautiful...
The Owner was very easy to work with and communication was terrific.
While the cabin was very nice, clean and well furnished, the other features of the location could have better. This time I traveled with a person who is struggling with health issues and didn't think to ask additional questions before booking this location.
This cabin is not physically challenged friendly. There are steps to get into the cabin with nothing to safely grab onto, also there is a step-up into the kitchen area from the screened porch, the toilet location doesn't provide support to someone who needs assistance using it and the beds are high and difficult to get in and out of. The steps down to the boat landing are unsafe. The boat dock itself is in need of assistance. These two struggles left it impossible to fish from the dock. And finally, the well water had a strong odor, a rusty look and not drinkable, had I known this before booking, I would have chosen another location. Things to think about before booking.
