- The property has a neighboring home visible from the cabin
- The dock and pathway to the lake are currently under renovation, but are usable to guests. The new dock and pathway are partially done and will be completed this fall
- Open-water swimming (outside of the bay) is available; swimming at the cabin shoreline is not allowed due to a layer of silt just below the surface in the bay, and then further out, a layer of muck over the sand bottom
- The bay by the cabin is a great place to fish for bass
- There are plenty of bluegill and crappies further out in the lake
- A spring feeds the lake at the dock area, so the water there is always ~50 degrees, summer and winter. The lake never freezes at the dock area
- This 2-story cabin requires 2 steps to enter; the bedroom and full bathroom are located on the 1st floor
- The property is equipped with 2 room air conditioners
- The lower level of the cabin is close to being finished. Landscaping will happen this fall
