This lake cottage features a full kitchen with granite countertops, modern appliances, central air conditioning, living room equipped with a smart tv and free WiFi and private dock for your boating and swimming enjoyment. Enjoy the spectacular views from the 3- season room and large deck that overlook Round Lake. Everyone will enjoy the lower level rec room filled with entertainment complete with a gas fireplace, tv, foosball, ping pong, dartboard and card table. Plus many card and board games all ages will be sure to love. Enjoy evenings by the outdoor fire pit, just steps outside from the screened porch. A walk down the steps will bring you to the dock where you can tie up your watercraft of choice for your water adventures. A canoe with paddles, two bicycles (child/woman's size) and a floating oasis (I-float) are provided for your enjoyment. There is also a propane gas grill provided for your cooking and grilling needs. The Master bedroom is located on the main level and offers a queen bed, large walk-in closet, master bath and patio doors that walk out onto a private deck. Bedroom #2 has a queen bed and is located on second level. Bedroom #3 has 2 twin beds and is located on second level. There's also a FULL SIZE Sofa Sleeper in rec room and one air mattress available. The dock accommodates boats up to 40 feet in length. The water level at the end of the dock is about 4 1/2 feet deep. Please note that the dock is typically pulled from the water mid-to-late October, dependent on the weather. The water is clear to about 10 feet of depth, so swimming can be done from the dock. Water shoes are recommended as some areas have a gravel bottom. Round Lake is approximately a 3,000 acre lake with 19 miles of shoreline with many bays. The lake is a spring fed lake and is so clear - you can see the bottom at 10 ft. It has a sandy bottom and shoreline and is great for swimming, fishing, boating, kayaking and canoeing. Round lake does have a public beach for kids to enjoy a sandy beach. There are several other beaches and sand bars obtainable by boat. For your convenience, there is an on lake boat rental service located at Round Lake Marina. Please refer to the rental agreement prior to booking. This is not a party house. The neighbors watch this home closely. If we get noise complaints from your group you will be fined $500 and be banned from booking with us again. This home is a non-smoking and non-pet home. The only negative about this place is the number of stairs down and steepness of them to the lake. Pros: spectacular views, many amenities (eg games and kitchen tools), and enough square footage. Cons: no room for pantry storage / food, dirty grill tools, uncomfortable mattresses (eg the blow up one had a hole / deflated), loud fans, poor air circulation. Our family of 8 makes a trip to Hayward every year. We decided to try this place and so glad we did! Everything about this property was absolutely wonderful! The location, the way the space was laid out, the cleanliness (very clean!), the board games, card games, fully stocked kitchen, garage use, the grill, furnished basement with ping pong table, darts and foosball. Our favorite place was the three seasons room - drinking coffee, watching the water and pines blowing in the wind. Our kids also loved it for reading books and playing games. The communication with Greta was fantastic as well! She is just wonderful. Honestly, there is nothing we would change. We really look forward to coming back next year. ##### Michael M. The lake is wonderful. Big, crystal clear, warm. Plenty fish but you have to find them. I did. The property is on point. Clean, comfortable, and with a beatiful view like described in the listing. What is not memtioned (or we may have missed it) that it takes over 80 steps to get down to the lake amd yes, back up. We're pretty fiit and it was challenging a few times daily. Our elderly parent however, made it down only once. Otjerwise highly recommended. ##### Andre T. Plenty of space for our family of 3 adults and 3 kiddos for a whole week. We spent most of our time on the breezeway when not in the water.
