This Cabin was just perfect! Everything was super clean and I am very particular about cleanliness!
It was so nice that they turned the heat on before we arrived, so it was nice and cozy from the start! I liked that they had everything we needed and more! I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a cozy retreat!
We stayed in hayward to try out some atv trails.. this cabin is cute clean and all we needed for our stay, close to trails but also in town close to other necessities like stores and restaurants.
Would definitely recommend this place

The house was very clean and the kitchen and bathroom were well stocked. It was nice to be close to the many things Hayward has to offer, yet have the quiet comforts of a cabin.
Went to Hayward for a short stay and really enjoyed this cabin. Cabin very clean and many amenities. Walking distance to downtown but also provided privacy. Check in and communication was very easy. Property was exactly as described on website. Would stay here again.
The cabin was absolutely perfect! Great location and we were able to bring our boat and dock at cabin.
The cabin had everything we needed and more! My husband would love to biy the place for the two of us lol.
Thank you for hosting us! We loved our stay!
A great getaway! Everything was just as we expected. All the extra amenities you would need. Beautiful cabin and only a short walk to downtown if you’re looking to do a little shopping or somewhere to eat. Will definitely stay again!
Everything was just as expected from the photos of the cabin. It was perfect for our little getaway. The host was very responsive. Hayward is a great little town, too. Nice to have amenities so close by, and yet, when you look out the front of the cabin, you feel like you are on a little lake in the woods. Would happily stay again. :-)
We had everything at our fingertips needed for our stay, adventures around town and countryside, great restaurants and food, but most of all a really cute cabin! Lots of things to do and places to go during the day and relaxing fires at night. The beds we’re very comfortable so slept like a baby. Will definitely be back next time coming this way. Many thanks to the hosts for sharing their cabin ;-)
Grandsons loved fishing, playing ball, fishing, climbing up into the lofts, fishing, fishing and catching 105 fish in 4 days! Loved the well supplied unit and quiet setting with few bugs outside. Wonderful accommodations!
Very nice cabin with a dock for fishing. We have small children and enjoyed the outside space a lot. The kitchen is midsize and is stocked with all the essentials to make cooking a breeze. We didn’t use the lofts but it would be a awesome hangout space if you have preteens or teens. Communication with owners was great and we highly recommend this cabin
My husband and I had a wonderful vacation at this cabin. When we arrived for our 5 night stay we were so happy to see how clean it was. Mike, Nola and Ginger were great with the details of our vacation and replied to our questions quickly. The kitchen is stocked with pots, pans, dinnerware, utensils and probably anything you could think of. The cabin is close to everything, but the setting is beautifully wooded. We even had deer walk in front of us while we were walking on a bike path. Hayward has so many awesome shops you won't be disappointed. We can't wait to go back!
Cute, convenient, & one of my fav VRBO stays so far!
I stay in VRBOs often enough, and of the ones I have stayed in this one is high on my list for being clean, well-managed and maintained, and just as described. A few highlights for me (and shared with those I stayed with):
- Often those amenities that you HOPE are there (little things like a scissor, kitchen conveniences, or extra batteries for a non-working remote, etc.) were there. As a group of 4 girls we were elated to find an extra mirror hidden away in a closet to give us more space for getting ready in the mornings. The only thing we needed was more space for our pantry items. Perhaps a shelf under the loft stairs or under the air conditioning unit would be a good addition?
- The hosts not only responded quickly to communication, they checked in to see how things were during our stay. Things are also labeled and detailed nicely in the home to find things easily.
- Walking is completely doable as the location for this cabin is in a quiet space but sort of "middle of the road" for heading towards either downtown or (as was the case for our weekend) the Lumberjack festival grounds.
- The little dock offered a great space for morning coffee and many little fish came up to visit us as well
- The campfire setup was great for our group of 4 and we had so much fun sitting out at night.
Thanks for making our first trip to Hayward memorable and fun!
We had a great time at the cabin, the cabin was beautiful and the hosts have the place well stocked, comfy beds, the loft was so cool, very nice view of lake. Exceptional cabin, will definitly stay again.
