"Room was spacious and clean. Pool was comfortable and seemed clean and well maintained. Breakfast was disappointing, the metal warming trays only had heated frozen items, and they were limited. So it was mostly cereal, toast, packaged muffins, etc."

"James is a great host and we really enjoyed our first visit at his loft property in Hays. The interior improvements and amenities are well done and we felt right at home. We found it clean, comfortable and the walk-in shower is excellent. The dedicated parking space on the adjacent concrete driveway in back is a real plus. The property location is also close to a convenience store at the end of the alley and is within easy walking distance from old town Hays, where many shops and restaurants are located. We plan to return and are looking forward to our next stay at the Chestnut Loft."
